FMCA Rally in Chandler, Arizona...

Thought this was cute...

Find the egg...
This was after we'd left Texas..it's a border control station, New Mexico.  Yes they even check you when you go East West since it's so close to Mexico.
Then we had to take dessert back to the motor home...
In Ruidoso, NM...My Casadia's...chicken.  Lordy, they were good!
Larry's cheese enchiladas...he said they were very tasty...
Larry...dreaming...While we were at the FMCA Rally in Chandler, Arizona,(Family Motor Coach Association of America)  we walked around...looking at all their wares.  Allegro by Tiffin is on our wish list...it was gorgeous!
Bunk beds for the furr babies!
King bed...
Kitchen area
Entertainment center

Had to purchase a new toy...Power AirFryer!  We bought it at Bed Bath & Beyond. You use maybe a tablespoon of oil and I really like that!  Got one for home and one for the motorhome.  Makes cooking fast and taste great without all that grease.

The wings turned out crispy!

Libby and Buddy...They are little experts at traveling these days!

SO...This is just some of what we've been up to this last month.  We took two weeks off and just went!  You know how you just need to get out of Dodge?  Well, we really were feeling it!  We took our time going to AZ and coming home to Texas.  The rally was our first time to something so big, four days long...over 3000 motor homes showed up!   You can imagine the dust that stirred up.  But the volunteers were expert at parking all of us.  We signed up for a power 30amp slot so we got to park up close to the event.  But, it was still huge and they had golf carts of all sizes to give people a lift to and from the center.
Can't think of much else except to say, if you've EVER thought about taking to the highways in a trailer or motor home, I say DO IT!  There's SO much to see!
Hope you all had a wonderful Easter and got to eat tons of chocolate!  Also hoping you can still see straight after all these photos!  Happy Wednesday!

Good for the Boarder Control! And I'm sure, you agree.

2 months you've been gone, from Blog Land, Hon!!! 2 months! Tsk-tsk-tsk... >,-))))

We couldn't do the motor home thing, because my husband's eyesight has deteriorated 'muchly.' We can't even do the drive-to-Cape-Cod-in-the-Autumn, like we used to do. -sigh-

But.... Such is life. We are just happy he can still seeeeee.

Enjoy your time away! Be safe! Come back to blogging.<--hint, hint, hint

Lots of gentle Spring-time hugs,
Luna Crone

Now all I can say is that is fine traveling! I traveled in my brothers from Daytona Fla to Nashville and it was AMAZING! Curled up on a couch and slept most of the way cause I did not have to drive. Looks like the fur babies might enjoy the travel also. Food....looks ......YUMMY! Thank you for sharing, I enjoyed my trip with you.

It's great to see you back here! Looks like you had an amazing time. I'm now hungry for Cheese Enchiladas! Haha! Loved all the photos, and I may have to get me one of those fryers. :)

Hope you don't have a doggy door on your motorhome! Pies and food looks delicious and maybe, one day, you'll have that dream one!

I could travel in one of those fancy motorhomes no problem. Ive thought about getting one of those air fryers. I like the idea of not using all that oil

I totally agree with you on that motorhome!! In fact, our friend's son just bought one! It is absolutely AMAZING! Ruidoso is one of my most favorite places too...How I would love to take the RV out west!! In fact, I would sell the house and the cottage and be perfectly happy living in the RV. My husband, on the other hand, does not agree. Ours is getting a bit old...at ten years...so there are things that are starting to go on it. We had a bad experience coming home...the driver's side front tire blew on 95 and he had ALL he could do to keep the motorhome on the road. As it was, we were literally six inches off the shoulder! We had to wait about an hour and a half for help to arrive...through our Good Sam Emergency Road Service. Fortunately a NC highway patrolman arrived (after I called 911)and assisted Ben in getting at least a LITTLE further off the shoulder. It was quite scary. Now...on to the cooker! OMG! It comes in purple!! I want two of them! Just found them on Amazon...I am debating! :) Thanks so much for telling me about this pot!! Have a Super Wonderful Mother's Day!! I am so very glad you guys are taking some time off to enjoy the road!! LOVE the bunk beds for the pups!!
