Are you SHOCKED???Hahaaaa.....Two post in as many days???  Don't mean to scare you...just thought I'd post this photo of the bluebonnets that cover everything around these parts this time of the year.  They love crappy soil...really.  The worse, the better.  Larry and I were on the way to the sausage house when he suddenly pulled the truck over to the side of the road and said, "Here you go..."   I think he's getting pretty good at mind reading these days!
Well, hope you all have a wonderful evening...I'll be popping over to catch up!

Every day is Earth Day!

Well, good afternoon!  Hope you all enjoyed a peaceful Easter Sunday...We did.  Peaceful, cloudy...reading and playing with the pups.  It's also Earth Day...ok...I think every day should be Earth Day.  Simple!  Just clean up after yourselves...Hahaaa...

Libby's getting bigger and starting to put on muscle.  Her face is a bit blurry in this shot but it is SO hard to catch her being perfectly still!  WiggleWorm ain't got Nothin' on her!Hahaa

We DID venture out long enough to get some sausage at our favorite country store, Greens.  A nice drive, and now that it's Spring, colorful.  We also enjoyed some warm cream cheese  kolaches...(don't hate me).  Needless to say, we were lazy but boy, did we need it.  Nice.
Anyway...Hope you all enjoyed your time out of the rat race. Seems Spring is finally springing here in Texas.  It'll be in the 80's all week.  I'm also thinking about getting rid of the Blogging Over 50 one has joined in ages!  Guess people just aren't wanting to meet anyone new these days...sad.  If I do, if any of you put in your information and copied the blog button, just dump it.  I tried.
Guess I'll go blog hopping now...sorry it's been a while since I've visited but I'm soon to correct that!  Have a great day!

A Personal Photo Challenge-Close-Up/Macro

Good Morning!  It's time for another Personal Photo Challenge hosted by Donna of Cottage Days.   I know I could have taken a photo of so many other things but I'm stuck inside most of the day and by the time I get home, Libby, my baby pug, seems to grab the attention of the rest of my day!  I do NOT remember puppies being so "care intensive"!Hahaaa.....Anyway, these glass ladybugs were a gift from a very sweet blogging friend, years ago...I keep them on my filing cabinet at work and they have gotten a lot of attention.
I hope you all are having a great weekend so far.  Larry and I have to do a few hours of volunteering this morning but I'll be back after lunch to visit all of you.  Have a super Saturday and thank you for visiting me!
