Sister's Zoo....Full of "No-Names"

Pomeranian...Aren't they Cute? The little one isn't as big as a hamster! RuthAnn (my sister) has the St. Frances of Assisi syndrome...Thank God...The little one was destined for doggie heaven but she has worked and worked and is Still working with with them and they are doing great! Feisty!

This is the littlest one...doesn't have a name yet...RuthAnn was afraid to name them because she was afraid doing so, may jinx them...
Do you have any suggestions for names???

For those of you who remember Red??? The terribly mistreated horse RuthAnn rescued last year??? Here he IS!!!! Isn't he Beautiful??? It's a cold and windy day here and he's basking in the sun. He's been So Happy and eating great and still has a beer on occasion!! Bless his heart! You deserve a Heavenly medal RuthAnn!!!

Well Hubby and I went to lunch at the local pizza parlor and then went on to the bookstore. Nice morning. I ran out to my sisters house when we got home for some chit chat and photos. I'm now home, drinking coffee and posting...It's been a Nice Slow day...Don't those feel wonderful?? Enjoy your day everyone!

PS- I heard from Crystal last night...Hahahaaa....She said it took her 45 minutes to get off the side of the mountain (skiing) while William (9yr old son) Zoomed past her, knees bent, tucked and Flying!!!Hahaa...This is their First attempt at skiing....Hahaaa...my baby girl! Ain't gettin' Me on no mountain!! I haven't heard the whole story, but I will....lolol....

Crystal and the Crew are in New Mexico for a little ski trip...be back Sunday. SO, guess I'll go home, crank up the coffee pot and let the weekend...just happen. I'm So ready. Forever and Ever...

Happy 14th Birthday Samantha!!! This is our Grandaughter...she was Once tiny...I could hold her on my lap and get some Really Great neck sugars...she'd scrunch up her shoulders and giggle...I'd stop and she'd lower her shoulder again wanting me to go in for another sugar...and the giggling would start all over again...

I'd be laying in bed reading...there'd be a little hand tapping on my hip, wanting me to turn over to help her up onto the bed..."Lets Read Gamma...you need a story..." and we'd read because...I needed a story...

"How much do you love me?", I'd say......"This much", she'd reply, holding her arms out as far as she could reach...."Forever and Ever?" I'd say....."Forever and Ever", she'd reply...

She'd lay her hand on mine and I'd find myself thinking that one day it would be as big as mine but I also knew, that wouldn't happen for many years yet....there was plenty of time....right...Well, that time has arrived. Her hand is as big as mine. Time did not stop...I'm in the "Autumn" of my life now as she is in the "Spring" of hers...

Fireball over Texas and Oink...Oink

Good Lord...This is NOT the actual picture of the so-called fireball that fell just 30 miles North of us here in Waco, Texas, but it's the Closest I could find. It landed in a field 60 miles south of Dallas hence, 30 miles North of Us...Geez! I heard the sonic boom and just thought it was military maneuvers on the Fort Hood reservation....There is No crater and "they" still don't know What it was...We'll probably Never know the truth...whether it was pieces of those crashed satellites (US & Russian) or some poor ET...LOL...

And How 'bout Senator Burris!!!Hahaaaa....It just gets Better and Better...Come On 2010!!! ReElection Day! I listened all weekend about how President Obama was in such a Huge hurry to get the play money bill On his desk by Friday...how he Needed to get it signed...now it's going to be Tuesday???? Princess Palosi left on "we the peoples" jet to Italy...had to go to a meeting...for 8 days...and the President and the Mrs. went to Chicago for a Valentine, 3 day weekend....SO, I'm sitting here Wondering Why the Big hurry to get the bill voted on and on his desk.....I wonder how many people lost their homes and jobs over the weekend...hummmm...no conservative was allowed to read all 1100 pages....no Time!

By the way....can anyone say...PORK? Which reminds me...We had pork for lunch Saturday, and I Promise there were no Earmarks on it....Anywhere.

Birds...Squirrels...They want FOOD...NOW...Hahaa...Sam Squirrel just could Not wait. He decided to get up on the outdoor furniture and help himself. He tore open the package and was just sitting there, gorging...little tart!Hahaa....The birds were chiming in as well. Hubby said he hadn't seen a Red-Winged Blackbird since he was a kid. I love the red in the wings. So, this weekend, I need to get out into the yard and fill the feeders...again. Hope you have a Wonderful night or day...and don't forget to FEED something!!Hahaa....

Achmed the Dead Terrorist....

OK...Last night, I came home, did the regular stuff, dinner, bath, computer. After I collapse on to the couch, I pop on the TV. Garbage...the "bill" for fun time spending will obviously pass so I decide to grab my IPod Touch and see what's new on YouTube....LOLHahaaa...You know how, when you are So tired, things are just...funny? I mean tear-rolling funny? Well, I was in just that state last night. This guy, TO ME, was hilarious...I even snorted a couple of times while laughing....SO, If you are seriously in need of a mind numbing laugh to yank your butts back to that "smiling" state in life, try watching...Warning..There are a few cuss words, but nothing we All haven't said on occasion...Happy day all!

My 500th Post!!

Goodness! I hadn't realised, until Sunday, that the Next post would be my 500th! He's After Meh!!!!!

I have this OLD red plaid housecoat that I LOVE!!! Hubby does NOT love it! It ripped....in the rear....Hahahaaa...I patched it (OK, so I'm NOT a seamstress)....again....Well, I went to sit down this morning in my chair in front of the computer and the old tear caught on the arm of the chair....RIP...is the sound I heard as I sat down...DadGUMit....If he sees This, he'll FOR SURE wait till I'm not wearing it and it will "mysteriously" disappear...LOL...Oh Yes...Every time I go to town, he ask Most politely, "Did you find a new housecoat today?"......WHAT??!!!!...LOL...."Not today...:)" I sweetly reply....I AM looking but the CRAP they have, in the stores that have not closed their doors, is Useless! Junk! I bought this housecoat at Mervyns over 15yrs ago (Mervyns is gone now)...I rocked my Granbabies to sleep in this housecoat...I went outside to get HIS newspaper in this housecoat..LOL....I will go down Fighting for my right to keep my beloved housecoat...

A Challenge and Cleaning...

New Blog Design on the Way!

Well, Good Monday Morning everyone!! How was your weekend? Hubby and I spent a pretty peaceful one...playing with our toys (him-XBox and me-blog, IPod, cleaning the computer out...). We read and ate and rested. It was nice.

Well, I'm having my blog "designed" by Jane over at Gemmak Designs. I've been enjoying Joan's at It's Always Something so I decided to take the plunge...(just click on the picture if you're curious about her designs). She is steadily working on the theme. She has answered every question I've asked, Quickly!!! I mean...Quickly!LOL...I think she must have a little bell on her computer that rings everytime someone sends her an email! I Love that about her! She doesn't keep you shuffling your feet! So, it should be ready Sometime this week...I'm not sure...I just, this morning, OK'ed the final product.
