I have this OLD red plaid housecoat that I LOVE!!! Hubby does NOT love it! It ripped....in the rear....Hahahaaa...I patched it (OK, so I'm NOT a seamstress)....again....Well, I went to sit down this morning in my chair in front of the computer and the old tear caught on the arm of the chair....RIP...is the sound I heard as I sat down...DadGUMit....If he sees This, he'll FOR SURE wait till I'm not wearing it and it will "mysteriously" disappear...LOL...Oh Yes...Every time I go to town, he ask Most politely, "Did you find a new housecoat today?"......WHAT??!!!!...LOL...."Not today...:)" I sweetly reply....I AM looking but the CRAP they have, in the stores that have not closed their doors, is Useless! Junk! I bought this housecoat at Mervyns over 15yrs ago (Mervyns is gone now)...I rocked my Granbabies to sleep in this housecoat...I went outside to get HIS newspaper in this housecoat..LOL....I will go down Fighting for my right to keep my beloved housecoat...
Hope you are having a Fightingly Happy Sunday...Me? I'm looking for a place to hide this damn housecoat...Hahahaa...Happy day all!

LOL! I had a pair of pajama pants like that! The same day I finally decided to fix the hole by the pocket I had an even bigger hole appeared. I finally conceded that the material was just too old and thin to keep repairing. I would just love it if a pair of my husbands shorts "disappeared"!
He simply cannot throw it out!
It's so important to be nice and comfy, even if your dressing gown is all ripped! :)
love,
Amanda x
Haha! You should wear this housecoat with pride!
Sorry that your hubby doesn't iike it!
For his sake I hope you find a new one, that both of you like!
Have a nice week!:)
ROFL, oh my this is funny! Hubby and I had our comfortable clothes too. He will wear t-shirts until they are hanging by threads! And he'll wear jeans with the seams ripped out you-know-where. I call them his crotchless jeans! Thankfully, he only wears them while he is gardening and the neighbors would have to use field glasses to see his underwear. If the neighbors are that desperate for a thrill, they can have at it! LOL!
Why is it that our favorite things are irreplaceable? Hide that thing, woman!!
Butterfly-Hahaa..I threaten Hubby that if I can't find my housecoat...his "toys" May just disappear...It's worked SO far!! Sorry about your PJ's!! :(

Aw, no more Mervyn's? I loved that store when we were in Colorado!
Hey, I had a housecoat for a while that was originally my great-grandma's! Tell him about that one!
OH my goodness. You must defend the plaid bathrobe. At this moment, nothing is more important. I have a pair of PJ's like that. They are red with little white snowflakes and are sooo comfy. I'd go to work in them if I could..haha. So I am here to support you in your efforts. If he throws them out..call me, I know a guy..haha..j/k
LOL. I do the same thing with hubbie's old undies - when they get holes in them he thinks that they're comfie and I rip great holes in them so he can't wear them...LOL. You'd better hide your housecoat well :-)
Sharon
I just pulled an old flannel shirt out of my dryer an hour ago... It's red and black plaid and I love it! It's so sad when a favorite item starts falling apart. Sometimes it's the worn-in, slightly tattered look that makes them so comfortable. I say hide it well... at least until you find something that you like as much.
Big Hugs!
Nita Jo

I think my nightgown is that old too! I just can't find one as comfortable as this one. The straps are practically made of thread, because I sewed them so many times.
If someone would hide my nighty I would cut them out of my will.
Joan- GOOD IDEA!!Hahaa...I'm calling my Lawyer!!
Hope all is well up there with you sweetie!!!hughugs
Hi Donna,
