A Week Already?

When "they" said 2012 was going to fly by so fast it could give you a nose bleed, "they" weren't kidding! Already one week into the new year! I don't think I've ever gone this long without posting... Oh well, absence makes the heart grow fonder...Or!!! It Better Have had!Hahaaaa....
I can't seem to get my wheels 'ta rolling! Our Christmas tree is STILL standing in the living room. It IS nekked (Necked for you Northerners) and all the ornaments are boxed and ready to go back into storage but when we get home from work, it's like we suddenly turn into zombies! Geeeez! The week has had it's "turns" though... Hubby's Mom went to the ER feeling dizzy and not being able to see much out of her left eye...Got to the hospital and they didn't find anything! Said there might have been an infection in her eye and to see her Ophthalmologist the next day. He couldn't find anything either...Then, she wakes up in the middle of the night to find Hubby's DAD laying in the middle of the floor, passed out! The damn pharmacy had given him a prescription that was SIX times the normal dosage! They said, "there had been a problem reading the dosage...." HELLO!!!! Can't read it??? Call the DOCTOR!
Sorry...didn't mean to shout! You don't want to hear about my visit to a local nursing home to visit my friend...no, you don't....
ANYWAY!Hahaaa....That's how its been around here. Hopefully, Next week will show some improvement...Y'all enjoy the weekend! It's suppose to be pretty here. Maybe I'll get outside with the camera.....

Hey come on! The year is only 6 days old! But apparently you have had quite the year already! I hear you about the zombie after work thing though! I never want to do anything when I get home from work, either! Boo the the pharmacy. That was very dangerous!

WOW! That is scary! I hope no one in your family uses that pharmacy anymore! I hope everyone is on the mend and that things slow down for you.

Hope your in-laws get to feeling better soon. Its been a long week here as I had to work all week and boy are people grumpy. Its made me not want to do much after work either. Enjoy your weekend and get the nekked tree put away! ;)

Glad your inlaws are ok. OMG. You hear about pharmacies doing that kind of thing but it's hard to believe and yes the year is flying by. Christmas is just around the corner. Lol. I've been known to still have my tree up in Feb.

That is very worrisome about your in laws Donna! The pharmacy could have killed him! Very dangerous stuff!! I received the wrong med one time from the pharmacy...fortunately I noticed it wasn't the right color and discovered they had given me someone else's prescription. Hope they are both back on their feet and feelin' fine!! xo

My tree is still standing too. Just got all the ornaments and other decorations packed up this morning. Finally.
Hope your husbands mom is doing better and what the heck with that pharmacy. Someone needs to lose a job over that one.

Goodness gracious, what a time for Larry's parents! I hope they'll be okay now. When you spoke of your m-i-l and her eye; it made me wonder if maybe she had a TIA.

Your flower is BEAUTIFUL!

(hugs)

What a wild week! Hope you are starting to recuperate this weekend. Except I saw something on your twitter about an iMac...

I thought of TIA with your mother in law too. Also, could be cataracts and/or floaters which I've had. So hard when they can't find anything. About your father in law, that is just criminal! The pharmacy is very fortunate he wasn't killed due to their mistake. Just should not happen.

By the way, I just took down my tree today... still working on the ornaments. May your life be much less eventful! Hugs!!!

Unbelievable ... they blamed the wrong dosage on not being able to read the scrip, like they have no responsibility to make sure they fill the thing correctly? That is SCARY.

I took my tree and all decorations down on the 28th (of December, HA) this year, and I loved it. Because of Christmas falling on Sunday, our son-in-law who is a pastor, brought our girls before Christmas this year. Normally they're at his parents' (in Pennsylvania) on Christmas, and with us for New Year's! I loved it because once Christmas was over, it was O-V-E-R and I didn't have to look at that tree for two more weeks. I've been known to let it stand until Valentine's Day if I can close a door on the room it's in and forget about it!

But you're right: this year is going lickety-split. Hope your in-laws are feeling better now.
