Camera tip!  Did you waste money on a lens hood?  Well, after watching this video, I bought mine at Lowes for $3.59!  The camera shop was going to charge me $26 dollars!!  It's soft black rubber and fit my 72mm lens Perfectly!  Watch the video HERE.
Well, it's beginning to turn colder here...only in the 50's today, 30's at night.  My feet are like ice!  Seems I can never get warm in the Winter...
Hope you all are having a good week so far!  It's Wednesday isn't it?Hahaa...It's felt like Monday all morning to me.  Maybe it's the lack of coffee...'ya think?  Or maybe, donuts...oh, did I mention we've been doing lo-carb again?  I've lost 6 pounds so far.  Maybe by Summer I'll look like Lana Turner...Never Know!  Could Happen!!!Hahaaaa....
Have a happy day!

Very clever.

It was 0 here this morning in your currency but is up to a balmy 14 as noon approaches. I'm going to have to hunt up my shorts and tees at this rate.

I cannot wait to share this with Wallace! He's a newspaperman and often has to take his camera to cover stories. Thanks for sharing!

Well, as you can imagine, I don't have a clue what ya'll are talking about.

But, I'm happy for you on the low carb and the weight loss. I've been on it for a couple of weeks, but haven't weighed yet. :)

I don't have a lens hood and I'm not even sure I know what one is...lol I really should spend some time learning more about my camera and everything I can do with it shouldn't I.
Congrats on that 6 pounds

It's cold here too, Donna! I've been trying to stay warm all day. Coffee helps!

Well aren't you just a little smarty, Miss Lana *UM... I mean* Miss Donna! (hehe) What a great tip~ I'll have to remember this!
We've had an unusual winter this year~ very mild and dry, but now the weatherman is saying COLD STUFF is on the way here too... *UGH* I'm ready for spring!

You are so clever, LOL! My lenses came with hoods, but I did have to purchase a replacement one a couple of years ago. One grew legs and walked off somewhere, giggle...

Love that PINK ROSE favicon there, sweetie!

I had to wear a coat today when I walked my dog and it was my winter coat. It was cold this morning. Suppose to be cold all week ! Time for me to do low carb !! Yay for you !! :)

can't believe I already had one of these

When it's fifty here, we rejoice in the fact we don't have to wear a coat! In fact, I was out shopping without a coat yesterday! At the moment it is only twenty out. Tomorrow, the high is supposed to be 14. We have had such a mild winter that these temps really do make us FREEZE!!!

How clever you are! My hood only cost $17 and I love it. Sounds like your weather is exactly like ours. Plenty of sun but chilly, and cold at night. TG has to bring me my socks all the time!!! Love ya girl.

Plus, covers are so easy to lose. ,-)

Hope your feet thaw out pretty soon. There is nothing more uncomfortable than cold feet, especially if they belong to someone else and are sharing them with you.

$26 for a lens cap?! I'm always losing mine but I wouldn't pay that for one!!

It's very cold here though we haven't had any snow (yet).

Have a great weekend, lovely lady.

Gorgeous photos of the young couple. They look so unaffected by this crazy world we live in. :))

Thank you for your visits, very much appreciated.

It's really cold and windy here on this Saturday morning. I can't get warm either.
I can't wait for spring!

My brother just made some kind of "hood" for his big movie camera. I don't think I'd know what to use it for.

I've almost been wearing a "hood" over my head. I am freezing!!
