Sunday at Sam's Baccalaureate ...

Baccalaureate June 2nd, 2013... It was a wonderful ceremony and yes...we still include God.  After hearing about so many school districts around the country that seem to have a problem even recognizing Him, we heaved a huge sigh of relief when we were asked to pray, sang religious songs and listened to a Minister deliver the Address to the Seniors...nice.
We still have the actual graduation ceremony on Thursday to attend.  We are SO proud of Sam.  She works...was going to high school and has been going to beauty school at our local college part time, for the last year.  It's a plateful but she never complains.  Just keeps her head down and keeps on going.  Yes, she's our sweetie...
Hope you all are having a good Monday!

I'm always glad to hear when God is still recognized.

It's amazing to me how many places no longer include God even though the majority of people want Him included.
Congratulations to Sam. She's obviously a very motivated young lady

Congratulations to that lovely young lady! Gosh, those grands are getting older! That doesn't mean that we're getting older too, does it? LOL!

I am so happy God was part of this ceremony...part of these young people's lives! You being in Texas is part of it. :-) But, it uplifts my spirit to see it! And I know what a proud moment this was for you entire family.

Congratulations to Sam, her mother and grandmother. As you might guess, I am not impressed by the God thing, but that's just me.
