Mojo's and Drying Paint...

Samantha and Everett
Fresh frozen greenbeans
Chicken thighs done in the oven

Wedding cake cupcake

Peach Cobbler recipe from years ago

Those same frozen green beans with pork roast
Dessert?  Yep, Banana splits

Sorry about being tardy as of late...lots going on.  All positive things really but none of which I can be yakking about here on the blog...yet.  It would probably bore you to tears anyway so, moving on.....
Sami has never been happier... Young Master Everett (the boyfriend) is a sweetheart.  Hard worker and treats Sam wonderfully.  Can't ask for much more.
Made a pork roast with fresh green beans...turned out Very well.
Had to follow up with a banana split...WHAT?  You NEED sweetness in your life!Hahaa
Now see?  Isn't this post just the MOST boring thing you've ever read?Hahaa....Honestly, Larry and I are trying to find our mojos.  We hate empty nesting...but we ARE trying to figure it all out.  Then you get hit with Social Security, Medicare, choices galore...come here, go there....geeezzzzlouise....Work is slow...trying to figure that out as well.
SO...While the "paint dries" on all of my non-important issues, I'll come by your place...always much more interesting!

I was too busy drooling over the food to be bored. I always enjoy coming here to see what's cooking :)

Nice to 'see' you again. At least you haven't been starving. :)

I'm not sure we are any more interesting than that...especially after just returning from vacation. That's okay...no excitement works just fine for me.

Always happy to see you here, Donna. Sam and Everett made such a cute couple; I hope he always treats her well - that's every parent/grandparents prayer. :)

Your food always looks so good!

Of course, now I want to know what you can't tell us. hahaha

Take care, and enjoy life - you've always made mine happier since I've known you. Such a sweet friend.

What a sweet photo!!! The food is all kinds of good!! I can almost taste it! You are not the only ones who don't like empty nesting...I have recently heard of two different couples who are having a terrible time adjusting!!

Happy Thursday Donna!! xo

Samantha and Everett are adorable! I love that you call him "Master" Everett. My MIL used to address my boys cards that way! All the food looks delicious. Love pork roast and banana splits. I have that exact Peach Cobbler recipe and it's such an easy, tasty one! I love reading your blog. Never boring to me! I'm trying to get back in the blog habit, but life gets so busy sometimes! Catch you later! BIG HUGS!!! :)

Girl no post containing the words "pork roast" and "banana split" could ever be boring. You and Larry will locate your collective mojo soon. Meanwhile you'll be eating well! Love, J. xoxo

So sorry about your "empty nesting" Donna! It's hard to go through. I haven't been visiting much and I am sorry! I am having issues with all this moving mess! :-) I look forward to a beautiful family Thanksgiving amid the boxes, all together again in central Oregon...but we still have a way to go!
