Instant Pot Boiled Eggs...

Larry bought us an Instant Pot some time back...needless to say, like the masses, we love it!  There are SO many things you can make in them from popcorn (although I haven't tried it) to cheesecake...roast...bread...you get the idea.
My latest test of the pot was boiled eggs.  Since Larry and I are constantly on LoCarb, boiled eggs come in handy as a snack.  There's been a difference of opinion as to whether the eggs are easier to peel or not, when done in the Pot.  Well, my opinion is...drumroll...they peel just the same as if you do them on the stovetop...period.  They DO cook faster though!  FIVE minutes actual cook time on high pressure.  I use the 5-5-5 method.  Five minutes to come to pressure...Five minutes to cook and Five minutes to wait then release the pressure,  Easy.
We hopped into the car the other day and made a trip to Walmart.  I spied some rose bushes that would fit into a pot I had laying around. It's suppose to be a red...we'll see.  But, it is taking off in the pot so hopefully, there'll be blooms soon.
SO...Go have a super day friends...Will be checking on you soon!

I have been flip-flopping over whether to buy a Hot Pot or not! lol I use my crock pot all the time and wonder if I would use the other pot as often.
Have a great Sunday- xo Diana

I don't have an instant pot. I've heard a lot about them though and wonder if I would use it much or not.

I am not on the Instant Pot bandwagon--they are so BIG! Last thing I need is another big appliance. I am glad to hear that you like yours. That and Air Fryers are very popular this year.

My daughter loves her InstaPot. She uses it all the time and makes some really delicious meals!

I'm like Lin -- I just don't have room for an Instant Pot. Not really much need either, since we're on low-carb too and that consists of salad and a protein at dinner. We don't vary our menu much at all. But I think it's about as intriguing as an appliance can be, haaahaha! Love me some hardboiled eggs. xoxo

I'm not one for kitchen gadgets...each to their own, of course. :) I add lots of salt to the water for boiling of eggs...and once they're ready...off the heat with them...drain off the water and let them sit under a running tap of cold water for a couple of minutes...and they peel easily.

I always tap them on the "fat" end first before starting the peeling process.
