Good morning! It's been getting pretty busy around here in the kitchen. Cookies, candy...cake. And I'm not through. We enjoyed a nice Thanksgiving with the kids, all but three. Will and Tylar are in the Air Force...and doing duty, Ty in Hungary with his wife, Sara...William is stationed in Arizona, off on duty somewhere in the world that he can't tell us about...We miss them all something awful...Praying they all are safe and well.
Made the traditional turkey feast. We all had a sweet time. But then...they all leave. 😒 I believe, if you've been following me long, that I don't do "empty nesting" well. I'm so use to the noise...fun...all of it. But, they grow up, get married or whatever, and fly the coop. Oh yes, I know...It's normal. I did the same thing growing up, to my parents. But...I can still miss it. I love being a mom, gamma. I turned 70 this last summer. Life really is rolling by fast. Now my granddaughter and hubby are trying to become parents themselves. No luck yet. Do I feel old? Nope...not in the least. But I scare the crap out of myself every time I pass a mirror! Who in the heck is that old biddy??Hahaa...Oh well, such is life.
Well, I hope you all enjoy your Christmas celebrations, no matter what they are. Here's wishing you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! Be safe out there!
Update...👀
Christmas made its appearance and then, just as quickly, disappeared! I got so busy that I totally forgot to finish this post!! SO, I'll close here...leaving you with photos... (of Course I am)!
Be safe out there!
