Good morning, Friends!
The weather here has been so warm lately! I was looking around the back yard and have found so many things starting to grow! I worry about another freeze rolling through before Spring officially springs.
I haven't much news to share...I've been busy getting a quilt top finished for friend, Laura. It's now finished.
I'm trying to envision exactly how to create one of these...Have you ever done something like this for your garden?
My green thumb is actually a little gray...
A new project...this time, for me! A quilt. Haven't decided on a block pattern yet.
So precious... Sloane has the answer to life making sure Mommy is listening!
"Take a deep Breaff!"
Lolol
Pork ribs and corn...
Well, that's about it for me this week. Headed out to go touch some grass...lol...I just took the last sip of my cold coffee and got a mouthful of grounds...sigh...
Hope you all are well and safe.
So, until next time...

Sloane is adorable, smiles. Wishing you a beautiful day.
Oh my word, that video of Sloane is beyond adorable. You just have to calm down....lol LOVE IT
I wonder if I could find a spot for milkweed.
Sloane is just adorable! I use to have milkweed at my other home. I wish I had space to grow it here, but I do have butterflies and an occasional Monarch, Janice
Sloane is so cute!
I've made that cherry cobbler quite often. I should do it again, Bob loves it!
Now I am pondering, did she Calm Down? ha hahaha adorable. yum on all the food. enjoyed the funnies, and the one about going to jail is ME... Daddy never told us to calm down, he would say Don't Make Me Stop This Car!!!!
Mother in Law and Wandering Jew grows like crazy in the ground here, our front yard used to be full of it, until the drought. still have a few pieces of the wandering Jew alive, in the ferns that I water twice a week.. I tried them in a pot but kept forgetting to water them.
Sloane is adorable lol. The food all looks delicious. XXXXX
I always enjoy hearing about Sloane, and lol, out of the mouths of babes. Your meals always look yummy! Someone in our house’s favorite is cherry cobbler. His birthday is coming up. I know what he’s getting. Thank you! Pretty flowers! I chuckled at the garden planters and I need that plant that takes care of itself. My toxic thumb would be ecstatic. Your quilting material is very pretty. Our temperature got up to 72 degrees yesterday and this week is similar. Might be snow next week though as the temperatures fall. Looking forward to the butterflies and thanks for the address to get the seeds. Thanks for the funnies and enjoyable post. Hugs, Denise
Ha! On the touching grass. I think we've been touching grass long before it was a saying.
LOOOOVE the pinks and that you're making something for you. Can't wait to see what you make.
Very cool about the seeds. Thank you!
I love Sloane she is so precious. Love the cherry cobbler! Oh man. Love quilts too. And I totally agree about letting God handle things, if I don't I tend to get in trouble.
Yah Mom you just have to calm down and take a deep breaff...
That's good advice for all of us.
Love your blog and happy quilt making.

What a cute video of Sloane. And some bright words from a child.....calm down and listen! haha Your cherry cobbler looks scrumptious. And that frito pie! Oh my, that looks really good. I really like the fabric you chose for your next project. Can't wait to see the quilt. It's springy looking, and you can't go wrong with Pink! Have a good March week, Donna, and make yourself a hot cup of coffee. I'll do that now too. ; )
Sloane is priceless in the video - yes, you just have to listen..lol Hands and all.
Food looks good...and hopefully you don't get a frost before the spring sets in.
Adorable video of Sloane!
Your cobbler sounds really good!
Cherry cobbler sounds like a great idea!!
You inadvertently identified a purple leafed plant that I noticed growing and didn't know what it was....until I saw your Wandering Jew. Thanks.
Sloane is so sweet, many thanks for sharing the video.
If you do an internet search for re-using or re-purposing old jeans in the garden you should find many helpful sites.
Nice food in your food court.
Sending good wishes, enjoy the coming weekend.
All the best Jan

Cute video of Sloane. The cherry cobbler looks so delicious. Have a wonderful weekend.
I mowed for the first time this year today. Yikes.
Your Wandering Jew is gorgeous.
I could dive right into that cobbler.
Sweet Sloane.
Thanks for the milkweed seed info.
Hugs,
Oh Donna - I think of the wisdom of a child when Sloane was saying you just have to calm down. Thank you for making me smile friend. Hope your day is blessed. Hugs!
Your food looks amazing, my friend. I always leave here hungry. :)
I like Sloane's reasoning...especially you just have to take a deep breaf. So adorable.
Love the video! Your food court is always very appetising. Here Spring is arriving but I must admit I am not good at gardening anymore. The fabric for the quilt is beautiful!
Sloane is so cute. Love your cobbler recipe too.
