It has been one of those Mondays that roll around every so often...You know the ones. You go to work Knowing it's going to be a Good day...and when you leave, you feel like finding Joe's Pool Hall...LOL...Geez. I helped get out the billing...licked Every envelope...I lost count after one hundred. My tongue feels like a cat scratched it...LOL...Then I went back and applied the postage...by hand..."Why don't you get a postage machine?"...you ask...Had one for Years. There was one already there in '90 when I started work. You have to lease them and at $1800.00 a year, I'll Lick, thank you. They keep getting higher and higher to lease. I Just can't justify the cost anymore. So, guess I'll go make a cuppa coffee...It's always good for what ails 'ya...Happy night or day where ever you are!

Donna - I LOVE that picture on your post today - yes, sister, I have had a Monday, myself!! Would love to go home and forget all...but alas, I have a meeting tonight at 7:30 - that's getting close to my bedtime, now!!! Had to be pushed back because of another meeting ahead of it!!! Looking forward to tomorrow - one more day closer to the weekend!!!!

First I laughed when I saw that photo. Too funny. That's alot of licking. Before we became home based my boss decided to get rid of the postage machine for the same reason and the stupid thing was always breaking down. Hope your tongue feels better. :-)

Oh Donna next time you have to lick so many envelopes have some honey and lemon, it worked for me.Before the email era I used to post 23 letters every week...mmm nope I never thought of a wet sponge...

I thought that the US was the capital of self adhesive stamps! I gave Rob a little sponge in a box with a mouse on amongst his birthday presents - he still licks.

Poor you! I hope you have got your coffee now...
I don't drink coffee in the morning. I never do when I'm alone. But it isn't true that I never drink coffee at all. When someone visits me, I take a cup with them, and if I visit someone, I also take a cup. But my stomack doesn't like it, so I have to avoid it as often I can. I have for ten years.
I drink hot wather. My friends cannot understand that it taste good, but it does!

I use those plastic envelope lickers. It looks like a pen and fills with water and there is a sponge on top to apply the water to the envelope.
