Saturday Afternoon...

Hello again! Got to the bookstore...BAM...(Books a Million) and Ellani was already waiting for me in her car. We get inside the store and take care of the MOST important business first..."May I help you Mam?".....LOLHahaha....OoohYeah!!..."One grande Mocha please!".....then off we shuffle to our table. Instantly, we fell into our old, comfortable mode of chatter...saving the world and such....You know! Fun visit. And! While we visited, who should show up but??? Daughter and grandson!! I got some sweet "sugars" to go along with my mocha latte!

Here's the books I got from BAM: Ghost Among Us by James Van Praagh (here's a Video review LINK, given by him and hosted by Barns & Noble). It's about fifteen minutes long, so settle in with a cuppa coffee or tea. It's interesting...IF you are interested in spirituality and ghost...(DON'T Forget!!! If you listen to the link from my blog, go down and shut off my music box!)

The other book I got was Wordpress for Dummies!!LOL...I have my photo blog on Wordpress...Geez! It is HARD to learn!! Nothing like Blogger...which is Very user friendly! I use Wordpress because I can change the size of my photos easily within it...It's one of the First things I started learning about. Good book.

So, that's about it...Hubby's doing Ribs in the smoker today. I've been going in and out taking pictures for my cooking blog, which will get posted in a few days. Here's hoping your Saturday has been a fun and Happy one! Enjoy the weekend!

I can see that you really love boks!
It is interesting, and we have a lot to learn when reading them....
I just now am reading a book that is about the christians in China.
They are suffering a lot just because they beleive in Jesus Christ. They are very brave.

Your cooking seems good today too.

Have a blessed Sunday!

Hi Donna! Love to picture you and your adorable family browsing through the books and sipping a tasty latte! What a nice way to spend a Saturday! I'm doing some extra reading while I hide from the heat up here in the northeast! 95 today! Ick! Just finished Revolutionary Road by Richard Yates (movie'll be out in January starring Leo and Kate)--kind of a downer story, but fascinating. Now I'm reading some Flannery O'Connor because she wrote in sultry Georgia and I thought the weather would put me in the mood. Yay for the escape that books offer!

I read Ghosts Among Us a few weeks ago, it was quite interesting. I'll probably never be able to meet a ghost though cause I don't think I could ever be as open as he describes you have to be in order to communicate with those who've passed over.

Another good book I read a couple of weeks ago was, 90 Minutes in Heaven.

Sandy- Thank you! I Do love my babies!!lolol...95? 100 here today...but You've got all that moisture off the ocean, driving the index up, to contend with!! It must be awfully hot there!!
Your reading sounds Very in-depth!!lolol...Another brave soul, indeed!!lolol...Happy night sweetie!hughugs

Crystal- LOL...I've Always told you his eyes were Your eyes!!...beautiful!!xxxxxmammy

Brenda- When you're halfway between..here and ...there, twilight sleep...you can touch. Wonderful....I never thought I could either. That's when I started to learn.
I read 90 minutes...Isn't it wonderfully heartfelt? His journey was incredible...Happy night Sugar!hughugs
