A Good Read....Geez!!

I'm sitting, watching the news....why? I guess I'm one of those idiots I'm constantly screaming about!LOL.....If I hear One More Time, President Obama say, "We'll see if they mean business this time before we commit the proposed 22 billion of TAX PAYER money...." Referring to GM and All the other companies with their hands out, I think I'll put my foot through the TV!! SO! Instead of ruining a perfectly good piece of electronics...I shut it OFF...I picked up a wonderful new book, in the series of Hamish MacBeth, and immersed myself in the rolling green countryside of Lochdubh. I love this series from M.C. Beaton.
Enjoy you evening or morning everyone! I don't want to think...I just want to read.

Enjoy your reading; it beats the news to heck and back. SO depressing!!

I had a brain freeze today; I couldn't remember the President's first name. I kid you not. I had to google it!! Yeah, I'm losin' it. For a while I kept thinking it's Osama Obama. Okay, send the wagon, lock me up!! :)

I'm too tired to watch the news and reading sounds like a fine idea. I think I'll get my book and go climb in the bed early for a change.

I'll have to look for that series. I think I may have seen an episode or two of Hamish on tv a number of years ago.

Donna, I love that series! I don't have that one yet, must check and see if the library has it.

I also love Beaton's "naughty" Agatha Raisin series... the situations she gets herself into... Love her friendship with the Vicar's wife, along with his total dislike of her.

It is wonderful to be able to slip into a place like Lockdubh once in a while, and leave the stresses of our world behind.

Hugs!

I read a commentary the other day saying that people were having buyers remorse with Obama. I've been reading all the Twilight books, can't put them down and I had thought they were just for teenagers. LOL
