Stirring The Pot...

Of Beans, I mean! Crystal CAN cook...I think...although it's been SO LONG since she's made anything for me and Dad!Hahaaa.....She came for a visit Saturday and took over the stirring of onions, bacon and bell pepper for me. We had pork ribs...Wonderful!
Well, it's Monday...The work week begins again. Guess I could gripe about it but seeing that so many people are Out of work, I think I'll just say...Thank You God.
Hope you all have a great day. Think I'll start planning Next Saturday's menu...Lololol

I pour off some of the liquid on beans and add my additions right into the can. Peel the label and cook on your grill right in the can to get that nice smoky flavor.

Yummmm..... sounds like a delicious meal. I can eat the bean all by themselves, as a meal.....
However, I must say that I'm not pleasant to be around afterwards....
Have a great week!

I need your recipe over at the new blog.

I need help.

I am trying to get some favorite family recipes from some of my favorite bloggers. I even started a new blog to hold them and I have already received some submissions and more have been promised.

I would like for you to type out your favorite family recipe. Nothing fancy, just whatever type is on your machine. Include your photo of yourself or of the dish you send or both. I can usually use your blogging profile photo if that is OK with you. Include the recipe.

I will post your recipe with your pictures and I am working on whether or not to include links. Links are no problem but so many people switch blogging services and that would make your link non-working, so I will probably not link your blog.

Send the recipe, with your photo and a photo of your recipe in a dish or whatever, to:

http://fatladyrecipes.blogspot.com/

Thank you for your recipe.

Crystal can come to my house and cook if she wants...lol
For a Monday it actually wasn't half bad for a change.
Have a good one :)

Now who's tempting with yummy food. And you didn't invite me!??!?! I agree on the work front. Frustrating and don't feel like it at times but better than the alternative of being out of work like so many folks.

I need to show this post to my daughter! :)

You sure have a cute little cook, and I know it was really good.
