My Happy....

Good Wednesday morning! There's been SO much bad news lately...Every time I turn on the news I get downright sick. Japan, the Gulf, Three wars, the economy, our borders... and it seems there's no one at the helm. I'm seriously trying to find some "happy"....I know I put it somewhere but the search just seems to be revealing more madness and mayhem. Fuel and commodity prices are spiriling with no end in sight. I'm stocking up on all the canned and dry goods and seeds that I can in the hope that we won't need them....People who think that what's going on in Europe and the Middle East can't happen here, need a good "yank" on their intellegence chain. In one city, sack lunches prepared by parents are now banned...the Government states those children will now eat in the school cafeteria because the Government knows what's best for our children....I'd much rather tackle a problem then ignore it. Where's the Parents? Last week I'd realised I just needed a break...if only a moment so I stopped at a nursery. I didn't intend to stop...didn't really think about it until I saw their driveway. I turned the wheel of my Jeep and I was there...I now feel Hope again because of that one decision to turn the wheel...I was reminded by all the beauty I saw, that God was still watching...listening...loving. Hope you like the photo and hope you find your "happy", as well....

You found a good find.I laughed at the sack lunch ban, we had a hard time coming up with the quarter for lunch.I went home until they banned that.Of course they never had hot lunch until I was in 3rd grade. Here's some happiness for you, have a good day. It is always nice to hear from you.
A big hug!

I'll be happy only when I finish all this bookwork that has consumed my week. I have only myself to blame because I was too lazy to stay on top of it.

Your happy, made me happy this morning so I will grind out those numbers with a smile on my face!

That is "happy" Donna. Amazing my post tomorrow features a barbeton daisy which is similar to the bloom you have here (I don't know it but it's lovely) And my post is about what can make us happy - definitely not more and more money, although that is a handy commodity! Ha! Thanks for always visiting my blog. Bless you dear friend. (((hugs))) Jo

Yes the world does seem to be full of craziness but at least we can still find happiness in the simple things like your lovely flowers.

You're right, Donna, there has been nothing but bad news on TV lately. I honestly try not to read much news for that very reason. It's DEPRESSING!

Thank goodness God sends little blessings to us to remind us that he's still running the show. I'm always so grateful for those times.

LOVE the beautiful pink flower photo! Just gorgeous!

Hang in there girl. Better times are coming. :-)

Oh Donna.... I agree... there's so much bad news out there. I hate to bury my head in the sand, but I'm really not wanting to watch the evening news anymore.

Spring time.... flowers and animals... such blessings.... your picture is beautiful!!!

Beautiful flowers! You are doing great with that camera! The world is certainly in a mess & I'm afraid that it's going to get worse before it gets better. And you found that nature - God's world - is the perfect tonic to bring comfort.

The picture is gorgeous. That cafeteria is insane, but not surprising.

Donna,

I love your Happy picture! Sometimes it's hard to find any beauty or HAPPY in the world- except in God's wonders in nature! At least we can still find pleasure in the flowers!

Thank you for sharing your "Happy". I've been looking all over too. Spent awhile looking up at the sky yesterday, just to try and clear my head of all the world worries running around in it.

I want to stay informed, but sometimes we need to nourish ourselves with "happy" to continue the fight!! ((Hugs))

So related to this post, hon :)

I am so with you on all of these topics! I see our country spiraling downhill fast.

But God is in control, even when bad things happen to us...we just have to trust Him.

Gorgeous photo and love the site look! The good is in us because the Holy Spirit is always with us.
Accomplishing change is difficult in a world where no one seems to want the truth.

Me & the DH have a one child at a time mission. So far we've helped two (plus our own...who thrive in spite of us :))

Regardless of it all - this is still the best place on earth and we are blessed beyond measure to be in America. Keep up the good fight. Missed you.
