I had to run to HEB this morning and this is what I found...Goodness! You could smell them a mile away! They smell just like Hyacinth. The clerk didn't know what they were so I decided one of YOU might know. I also got a shot of them in a cream color.
Well Blogger was giving me such fits, I thought maybe if I upgraded to the new Blogger, the commenting problem for me, would stop...guess again! Now I can't find the button to return to Classic Blogger...I AM in the slow process of getting a Word Press blog though... I'll let you know when it's up and running. I don't want to get rid of this one because of the widgets that are offered here and not on Word Press. At least if something happens Here, I'll have a back-up blog! It was SO simple to import this blog to that one!
Well, I'll cut it short for tonight. Tomorrow is already Thursday! Enjoy your evening!

Well I wouldn't have a clue what to do if blogger gave me continual trouble I mean it does have it's little spats at times then everything seems to return to normal. I hope I don't ever lose my blog it really is a journal for my family. Can that even happen? Can a blog get lost in cyberspace??
Is anybody out there are you still there Donna! LOL
Caroline
I have no idea what type of flowers they are, but they certainly are gorgeous! They look like a bride's wedding bouquet!
I know what they are, but I ain't tellin'. :)
Caroline - yes it does happen; I lost mine from 2003-2007. :(
It's pretty in here, Donna. I love it! Okay, going to bed now; American Idol wore me out!! LOL
I don't know what they are Donna...but I love them! Yikes....I hope I don't lose my blog either...I really should have some sort of backup!!
Caroline, Yes Mam it Can happen! If you're not backing it up somehow, you at least need to transfer it to another blogsite...All that work could be gone in a matter of seconds...

Dang!! It WORKED without a hitch...guess I'll go blog reading and try to leave some comments...HOPE they fixed the problem!
Pretty flowers! I guess when I said I was not having problems with Blogger I should have kept my big mouth shut!! Commenting seems to be a issue with them lately!
See??? I went to their website to see if they were Doing anything about it and not Anyone addressing the commenting issue! Some were complaining about the repeated sign in issue though...Grrrrr!

My guess is phlox, and I can't believe you didn't get them.
Good for you for creating another place for your blog. Someday I am going to grow up and do the same.
Those are gorgeous, Miss Donna!
I've been having trouble with blogger too, especially leaving comments- then I found out my internet security settings had been changed and followed Blogger's instructions on how to fix it and it works perfectly now... I dunno how these darned little gremlins keep getting into my computer, but I ever catch them... *hehe*
We have an H.E.B., but I sure haven't seen those gorgeous flowers.
Now I'm scared....I've never backed up my blog, and have no idea how to do it.. sounds like I should learn.
Hugs,
I think my WP blog backs up via an email to me periodically. It's all witchcraft to me. I'm constantly on DIY or calling godaddy.
Tall Phlox do smell delicious. Were the blooms on a tall, thick stem?
The deer ate mine years ago :)

the photo is delicious and I haven't a clue what the flower is. besides gorgeous. I've heard of other people still having problems with blogger too, and the last crash has made quite a few people consider switching to Wordpress. I actually started out on Wordpress years ago, but once I discovered how much easier blogger is I've been here ever since. I wish Wordpress had the same ease of use and all the widgets, I would consider a move too. I hope it gets straightened out soon for you Donna. In the meantime, have a great weekend! {{{hugs}}}
Your flowers look like stock to me. Are there clusters of flowers on each stem anywhere from two to six inches in length? We use stock in the flower shop and they are a very fragrant flower, that comes in lots of colors. I'm trying to grow some now, but only have some spinally foliage.
Ummm maybe I need to check into backing up my blog... Never had any trouble losing mine, but guess i should check it out before I do.
GRRR to Blogger - it's been a right pain recently.
Have a great weekend. Those flowers are stunning.

Don't know what the flowers are, but they are beautiful! I tried a Word Press and could never figure it out. I paid for it for 2 years without ever posting. I am not very computer savy and this blogger is confusing enough. lol Good Luck!!!
Such beautiful flowers! Marty said they look tasty, LOL. I have no idea what they are but that color combination is scrumptious!
Blogger editor is just a pain i the patooi for me with the extra spaces that I loves to spontaneously add to my posts, even after I remove them. Sure wish I could use Live Writer, but I can't with a Mac now! it's always something! I may have to check out WordPress too and see what it does and doesn't do.
You can back up your blog in the settings. I last did it a couple of months ago. It's time for me to do it again! Thanks for the reminder! Of course, I keep everything in Word files. I write in Word and then copy over for my posts.
Hey, I meant to ask... did you remember about the next photo challenge assignment?
I don't know what the flowers are, it seems no one knows. Enjoy them and forget about the name, lol.
I still use old blogger and it works ok, I'm afraid to change to new blogger because as far as I know you can't switch back.
Have a great weekend.
don't know what they are but they sure are pretty.
I thought about switching to word press once but didn't know if I would ever be able to figure it out.
someone said STOCK.. and I'm agreeing with that.
