Out of Town & I Love Color...

Before Edits.....

After Edits....Color AND CLARITY!!!Hahaaa....I'm a slow learner.....

Before Edits...

After Edits....

Good Sunday afternoon everyone! SO sorry about not posting lately but Hubby had a PHCC (Plumbing, Heating, Cooling Contractors) meeting in Harlengen, Texas Thursday and Friday. That's WAY down South, almost to the border of Texas. We drove...8 hours one way on Thursday...8 hours back again, on Saturday morning. It was a long haul but we made it, AND, where EVER Hubby goes, Wife (me) must follow! I know, I know...it's simply NOT fair for wives to have to do this sort of thing BUT, If I want him to keep cooking on the weekends, just call me "She Who Must Obey"...Hahaaa....yeppers.
For those of you that follow me on FaceBook, I'm sorry you must be subjected to these photos again...but! I didn't show Before and After's over there but am doing so, here. The day was very cloudy and damp but I still got some good shots. I'm still trying to learn how to get more clarity when using the camera and PhotoShopEle10, so bare with me. What I HAVE learned to do is to add color! What fun that is....I like photos that have light added to them but NOT those that are SOOOO light, all you can see are people's eyes and lips!! You've seen those edits here on the web...That's not for me...I'm all about Color...and an occasional black and white or vintage shot.
Well, I'm still doing laundry and trying to find the energy to get things ready for work tomorrow. Hope you all have a great Monday!!

Those are cool, but then, look at the dolllllllllllll you have, as a subject. :-))))))

I never got into any kind of PhotoShopping. It may not work well, on my Mac anyway.

All I like to do, is use the photo program on my Mac (iPhoto) and lighten, crop, increase color a bit, etc. No exceedingly different things.

But lots of people love it!!!! Glad you have fun with it!!! It's all about our fun, in the long run. :-)

"The night was clear and frosty, all ebony of shadow and silver of snowy slope;
big stars were shining over the silent fields;
here and there the dark pointed firs stood up
with snow powdering their branches
and the wind whistling through them."

~ Lucy Maud Montgomery, Anne of Green Gables

I love seeing what you are doing wtih the photo's. Sam is so beautiful.

Some of the photo's I've been showing have been from using the Kodak Easy Share program. I didn't realize until lately I could do that!

Have a great week. I know you're tired; I am from going back and forth. Slept on the couch this afternoon for FOUR hours. I never do that. :)

What a sweet couple they make and the shots are great. I really like the one with the green. I think it suits them better than the blue :)

Haha, you do like color, don't you! Those surely do POP!!! They sure are a cute couple! I don't care for all of the high-key (washed out) photos that are the rage right now. I like my photos with a little bit of zingy contrast.

Glad you made it back from the trip OK. Whew, that's a long one for a short period of time.

Glad you both got there and back safely :)

Big hugs!!

I love color too and these are beautiful, Donna! But then Sam does make a most captivating subject. I'm so glad you stood by your man but I know those hours on the road were hard. You rest up and have a good week! And make him serve you breakfast in bed this Saturday.

Nice editing! I agree, the added color really makes the pics come to life. You also have a good eye for the perfect shot.
