Shrimp & Grits, IMACs and Toast for Breakfast...

Santa was good to me...I've only written him, about wanting to switch over to Macs, ohhh...nine or ten times...Hahaaa...I've got tons to figure out! Like...In my Photoshop 10 for MAC, how do you save photos in .jpg format? Can't find the place to change it like I could in the PC version of PSEs....For all of these photos, I had to go to PicNik to change them...what a pain!
Buddy Always gets ONE little bite of breakfast from me...in this case, toast.
Hahahaaa....OH! Stop That! I don't remember where I found this recipe but I had said to Hubby, sometime last week, that I thought that Grits sounded good for breakfast someday soon...Well...This morning I'm sitting at my new IMAC/Lion-OS (Oh Yeah...Santa is SO sweet) when I start to smell...shrimp! Mind you, it's 6am...time for another coffee from the kitchen. Upon my arrival, there's Hubby hunched over his steaming pot of...something. Oh well, I grab a fresh coffee and head back to the computer.
"Breakfast is Ready!", I hear.
Hahahaaa.....ok....This is what I find on my second trip to the kitchen. Shrimp & Grits. An old Southern staple. I'd never had my grits with shrimp before, but I had heard of it. Know what? Served with toast...I must say it was good! I just think it's better served for supper than breakfast...Hahaaa....too heavy a meal.
Well, guess I'll go get a coffee refill...my last cup has gone cold.
Ok! Crystal just called! We are going out on picture taking expedition...Maybe I'll get something worth posting...
Enjoy your day!

Donna, you have one gem of a husband I tell you. Look at that Mac! wow, aren't you the lucky one. But I don't envy you all the conversions and re-learning of stuff. But after awhile you won't even remember you once had a PC. I love your Buddy!
happy week to you. {{{hugs}}}

Congratulations on Imac and brekky. MACs are weird to me, but is there not a Save As option under your file menu? There should be, and jpegs should be one of the options -- I would think.

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhh!!! I'm *in lust* with your beeeeeeeeeeautiful new iMac!!! Oh my oh my oh my!!!! -be still my heart-

What is its name-and-number and all that information stuff??????????? It is so gorgeous.

As you probably know, I have the old "Flower iMac" which I love, love, love. But some day, we'll have to get a new one, and I known nothing about new ones.

OH YOU WILL LOVE YOUR iMAC!!!!! I guarantee, it. I love mine. Husband loves his Mac lap top.

But...

I had my own, personal, computer, geek, Net-friend... When we switched from Pc to Mac. Jim simply walked me through EVERYTHING. On the Net and on the phone. Now THAT is purrrrrfect!

Mmmmmmmm, can you find one (your own, personal, computer, geek, Net-friend), of your own? Quickly? And your learning process will be so much easier. -giggles-

Now I have to stop and wipe the drool off of my iMac monitor screen. Droooooling over your BEAUTY! ,-)

Girl I don't know what I love more: shrimp with grits or my iMac! Congratulations! You'll never go back!

Oh, your iMac is looking so pretty there! You will LOVE it! Looks my big honking Bertha of a screen too, LOL.

And why on earth can you not save jpegs in Elements 10? What??? File, Save As, then select jpeg in the file extension menu. I don't get it. I don't have any problem saving to jpegs with CS5 and Elements 10 should be no different.
