Whitney Houston....

What a great singer she was...Bless her heart.  Here's the link to the video where she sang the National Anthem...I've NEVER heard it sung more beautifully....

Very sad...even more sad...it wasn't unexpected. She was a great talent at one time.

I heard she had gotten help last year and was working on a comeback. So very tragic. She was the best and of course my favorite female vocalist!

So tragic. So young. She lead such a troubled life yet had so much to live for. God rest her soul.

She will be missed badly...what a voice and so pretty. I loved her rendition of Dolly Parton's song "I will always love you"

I agree that it was the best National Anthem! I am so saddened that she took a wrong turn with her life and didn't continue to positively use the God given talent that she was given. God bless her and may she now be at peace.

That may be the definitive National Anthem performance. Her voice was a national treasure. Whitney's is a sad story and a cautionary tale.
