I remembered it last night after reading someone elses FB post about it, so out I run, into the moon driven light, to get my snaps. The first shot came out with some weird white formations included....the second snap, of which I took only seconds after the first, came out normal. No, I didn't jerk the camera, there was little to no wind, I didn't have my tin foil hat on...Hahaa.... I have no clue what happened but thought it was indeed, a magical night....You could just "feel" it.
Have a peaceful and Happy Sunday!!

Oh Donna! That really is magical and gave me goosebumps!
Seriously, you have THE most fun, mysterious blog!!! It is like visiting The twilight Zone! This must be something completely explainable, but for now it is so much more fun to NOT know!
That first image is spooky! LOL, you should have just told us that you purposely did a double exposure to make it look like that!
Very cool shots! Your bangs weren't hanging down over the camera, were they. ;)
The moon was beautiful and extra bright last night. I only wish I caught a glimpse of it when it was first rising; that's when it was supposed to look so large!
Spooky, but very cool!
I didn't take any pictures but I did get to see the moon. It's been nice and clear.
Whatever happened in that first shot it's very cool
It was so cloudy here that I couldn't even see the moon. However, I'm going to try tonight.
Yes, I have to agree with Ginny; it's kind of like the twilight zone! LOL
But, you know Donna, that could have been aliens; they know you like them. :)
xoxo
It was a lovely full moon, but that's all I saw...didn't seem to be a Super Moon or anything else too special.
You captured the magical Midsummer June Strawberry Moon!!!!!!!!!
You did it!!!!
Love it.
Gentle hugs,
"Auntie"
Beautiful! I didn't have the energy to get out there and get the big camera and zoom lens set up to take pics. It was a beautiful moon though!
That's weird but cool. My attempt to shoot the moon got rained on. I never did see the danged thing.
I like the one with the angels. Taken by an angel. xoxo
That is just waaaay cool! I love the first one!
We went out to look at the moon several nights...during solstice, then each night up to it's full glory and it was such a beautiful sight! Wow, what wonderful photos you took! I'm not sure what happened with the first one, but it turned out very interestingly!
Super cool photo you got there Donna! It is !!
