Marty comes for a visit...

Sometimes, you just need to get outta town!  Mr Marty belongs to Miz Donna at  Cottage Days.  He's her mascot...chief welcomer.   Donna is a fantastic photographer and so is her husband, Mr Jim.  They've all been going through a few rough patches lately so if you want to go soak up some Gorgeous photography and just generally some sweet "doings", go check out her blog.  While you're at it...leave behind, some prayers.  We all need some extra hugs at one time or another...Marty will finish eating his pear and be hopping on home by this evening...rested and renewed.

Not much else going on here...We did get a new patio and cover added and also a new rought (sp?) iron gate added...tore down an old out building and planters...but I'm sure that's about as interesting to you as getting a hypodermic at your local doctor's office.  SO, Hope you all have a super week and please try to stay out of trouble!  :O)

Aww, so glad Marty came to visit! Your yard is so pretty; come on now and show us pics of the new patio and cover. You guys have really been sprucing up lately. :)

I'm praying hard for Donna and Jim. Yes, they are having such difficult times; I feel so badly for both of them.

Marty, you little rascal! No wonder you get so plump, visiting everybody and eating their vittles and flowers! LOL, I think a lot of folks all over the world now cry out "Marty" whenever they spot a rabbit in their yards or during their travels!

Times have been a bit trying here lately and I'm bracing myself for the long haul. I'd hop out of town and escape from it all too, if I could. So Marty has the right idea! I've afraid that I'm going to need all the positive support I can get for the months ahead. For someone who loves to plan, the uncertainty of it all is quite unsettling.

Thank you so much for the many kindnesses you have shown me over the years. It mean SO MUCH to me! You were the very first blogger who really cheered me on, and you've been able to watch my grow with my little photography hobby. I try very hard to pass on the kindness to other bloggers and help them out when they come running to me with questions or need some encouragement. I learned from your example, Miz Donna!

Stay tuned for another "feisty girl" episode on my blog. I should soon publish the piece that wrote a couple of weeks ago. Now that the computer drama is over, I can get back on track.

And please DO share some of the recent household improvements! We'd love to see, and do some ooohing and aaaahing!

That Marty, he gets around. Quite the renaissance rabbit. And I agree, our beloved Miz Donna and Mister Jim need to be held up with added prayers these days. What would we do without them. I love wrought iron too. I especially love it in cemeteries, LOL.

So, he just hangs out freely in the yard without hopping away? Neat.
