Happy Thanksgiving!

Just wanted to stop and say Happy Thanksgiving to all my USA buddies!   I'll be doing the stuffing, mashed potatoes and the rest of the odd side dishes...black olives and such....and PIE!  Oh yeah!  Larry will be doing the turkey and a pork loin.  THEN....around 3 or 4pm, the TREE is going up with the help of Sami and William...it's time people!  Will yours be going up?
Hope you all have a wonderful and safe day with lots of PIE!!Hahaaa!
Stay warm....

Yes, we just bought two pies. It sounds like your day will be amazing, I wish you all the best! Oh my, I just don't know about our tree, the cats just will not leave it alone, so I am trying to decide whether to even put it up this year.

Sounds like a similar menu here. Hope you have a great time. I had a stent put in 2 days ago in my heart so am taking it real slow for a few weeks.Having 3 of us to share tomorrow.

Not sure exactly when the tree will go up but my rule has always been no Christmas decorations until after the turkey has been eaten.
Happy Thanksgiving

Have a nice Thanksgiving!! And don't eat too much. :) Hahaha!

No Christmas here until this holiday is over. And then I only start with drips and drabs. I hate putting up all that stuff.

Happy Thanksgiving my sweet friend! (Hope you got my email)

Well, actually Ms Hunter was here last weekend, and she put up not one but two trees! The little 4 footers, and I just let her do it all. :)

Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family. I have been waiting to see your tree. Blogging tradition for me is that I don't put up Angel Man...before you put up the tree ...heh... he is itching to get out of my hard drive.

Have a great day my friend.

It's our Santa parade this weekend and daughter's tree will be going up. We have lots of Christmas decorations but only a tiny pre-lit tree in our little place.

I hope that you had a wonderful Thanksgiving, filled with love and blessings! Oh yes, and filled with PIE too! LOL...

We put up our decorations earlier this week. Started on Sunday and finished on Monday. We just put up small tabletop trees this year. Jim doesn't need to be hauling a BIG Christmas tree box down the stairs, and I can't physically do it by myself. So we're keeping it simple. Have fun decorating, sweetie!

Sounds like it was a wonderful feast. We had no black olives or pork loin but we did have copious amounts of turkey plus homemade cranberry sauce, creamy tangy red potatoes, extra-decadent macaroni and cheese, broccoli casserole, sweet potato casserole, Sister Schubert's Parkerhouse rolls, and pies: pecan, pumpkin, cherry, and mince! And the trees were already up but the grands lit them last night. The halls are decked! And now you know. xoxoxo to all of you!

Gosh, sweetie, I've tried to send you some e-cards and just noticed that you haven't picked them up. So I resent them. I'm using your hotmail account. That is the right e-mail, isn't it?
