I can see why you like portraits so much, you're very good at taking these. I'm pretty sure that Donna won't mind a bit.

Portraits was a made-for-you challenge. Love the family shot where the baby is turned and looking up. Such a good capture, but then you have many of them!

Haha, I knew that you would be in your element and wouldn't limit yourself to just three photos! And I never, EVER get after somebody for enthusiasm! I think you could teach us all a lesson or two about portraits, because it is definitely your "thing" and you clearly excel at it. I remember that graduation photo shoot with Samantha. Oh. My. Word. She looks like a movie star! And that portrait of William, with those beautiful blue eyes pulling us right in. The little baby in the Beeman family shot made me laugh out loud because he's looking at gramps with such intensity. I could go on and on about each one. But the bottom line is this - you ROCK at taking portraits! Go to the head of the class, darling...

I like the Beeman shot the best, perhaps because I have seen the other characters more frequently. But the sepia toning worked well.

Wow! What a great collection of portraits. You've really got a knack for capturing people beautifully. What's your secret for getting them to be so at ease? Wonderful photos.
