Betrayal Thursday...

Well, that's what she's going to think... I've put it off long enough...spaying.  Libby's ten months now and it's my understanding that if you don't breed a pug, in their later years,  they can get some pretty nasty problems u-terally speaking...:o).  SO, this Thursday is the day.  Take her in early, surgery at 2:30pm, overnight stay, then home for the helicopter mom to take care of...I don't want to but I don't want her to possibly have a horrendous problem down the line, either.  I refuse to breed her so that's that.
Hope you all are doing well... Winter is fast approaching.  Hard to believe Halloween is around the corner!  Christmas stuff is EVERYWHERE!  Geeez!  I love Christmas but they could at least let us get through Thanksgiving!  Oh well...What will you be serving Thanksgiving and Christmas? Turkey? Duck? Ham? Barbeque? Steak?  I'm still trying to decide...
Well, guess I'll go see what you've been up to lately...Enjoy the day friends!

She is so darn cute, and I know you dread this for her, but it's all gonna be okay. xoxo

I know about the Christmas stuff being out; I'd even thought at least we could get through Halloween, but NO!

As for what to serve for Thanksgiving and Christmas, that's always been "up in the air" until the last minute really for us the last few years. Usually, my bro and sis-in-law go to her sisters for Thanksgiving; Matt & Britt & kids usually to his grandmother's (but she's not doing well). Last year I had everyone over the night before Christmas Eve leaving that night for their immediate families however, Jase was born on December 21st so they weren't here.

Okay, did I answer your questions; in other words "I don't have a clue".

P.S.
But, I WILL be making fudge. :)

She is absolutely adorable Donna!! I Bknow...can you believe how early they start putting Christmas stuff out??? At BJ's and Sam's I think it was out with the Back to School stuff. TOO EARLY!! Ben and I always go out for Thanksgiving...since it is just the two of us. Christmas...my daughter prefers to do it! Makes it so much easier on me. I will be making my vegetable tree to take over though!! I think I got most of your questions answered! xo Jeanne

She's a cutie for sure and I'm sure she will forgive you the minute you start pampering her when she gets home! I am the lucky (?) host for 23 people this Thanksgiving! Lots of turkey for everyone!

Tough to have to leave her, I'm sure you will make it.

Gibbs will be going as soon as he's old enough. We never had Duke neutered but this one isn't getting off the hook...lol
I've considered going out for Thanksgiving and not cooking at all

You are doing the right thing, so don't feel guilty. We got Buddy fixed as soon as he turned 6 months & we got the OK from the vet. I bet it won't even slow her down!

I was shopping at Kohls about 5 weeks ago and they were putting up Christmas decorations then. It was September! Geez, that is really pushing it too far.

We have a trip planned for Thanksgiving - over to Biltmore Inn. I fully expect us to have to pay big fees to cancel. That's how we do things this year - put down deposits and then lose them when we have to cancel. If we get to go, I'll be pleasantly surprised! Shocked, actually. I have learned to live with low expectations! If Jim is sick from the cancer or chemo and we are home, I'll probably have a sandwich and he'll have an Ensure. But we'll count our blessings if he is hanging in there.

Awwwww sweet Libby. It'll be all right precious girl. And I'm so happy about Christmas stuff being out, I don't care that they jumped on it a bit early. As for Thanksgiving feast ... turkey with simply all the trimmings, dahling. xoxo
