Ain't Happening...

Well...if it's 'gonna happen, it'll happen to me.  The surgery has had to be postponed.  Libby must have heard me on the phone, making the appointment.  I get home and discover...yes...she's now in heat.  They won't touch her until it's over...Three weeks of it....sigh.  Oh well, that's life.
Hope you all enjoyed a safe Halloween.  We did not have ONE kiddo ring our bell.  Our neighborhood is an older one (70's) so all the kiddos are grown, gone, with kids of their own.  I must say...It was a dark and gloomy night.
Tomorrow is a big Day!  GO VOTE!  Every vote counts!  Larry and I did the Early Vote thing, last week.  Praying for our Nation.
Enjoy your day friends...

You will be happy to get past that first heat. Poor little gal must be beside herself.

aw, isn't she sweet.
We had a quiet Halloween here too. It was cold and rainy. Not a lot of trick or treaters but we didn't pass out candy any way

Libby is probably glad for the delay, LOL. Our Halloween was pretty quiet compared to the last ones here in the subdivision. We only had 12 show up. Last year we had about 4 dozen. It started to drizzle a bit, so I think they decided it wasn't worth it. And YES, I voted! Do so about 2 weeks ago. Fingers crossed that Repubs will get back the Senate!

Ugh. Keep her away from the doors and windows! Hahaha! Don't want those boys coming over to see her.

I voted early too. I never liked the voting place here---too many busy-bodies. They never seemed professional to me. so we vote by mail now.

We've got a doozy on the ballot tomorrow. BIG impact on our small town. Keep your fingers crossed that it goes well. I'm worried.

Quite Halloween here, too.
We voted last week and sure hope the Republicans get back in !!!

No tricks or treats here; I was told by the neighbors (like with your neighborhood) not to even buy candy. They take their grands to a trunk and treat.

So, I guess with Libby it means you have to keep a close eye on her. I'm sorry you couldn't get that done.

We didn't turn our lights on for Halloween! I know...boo humbugh! But they always ring the doorbell and the cats freak out so you know our cats have to come first! Plus, all that candy is too tempting!

She looks gorgeous and very contented - no wonder!
Halloween was pretty quiet in my neck of the woods!
Guy Fawkes night tonight, that's much bigger here!

We had no treaters either and luckily no trickers! Poor you and pup!! Put some doggie panties on her and lock her in a room! Enjoy these next 3 weeks. Ha, ha. Not.

Awww, just look at her! So sweet! I have a friend who would love her! I've always loved dogs. Wanted a Cocker Spaniel for ages, and now I've fallen in love with French Bulldogs, but I know I won't be getting one anytime soon.

Thanks for always visiting my blog. It's so neglected, but I'm hoping to get back to writing very soon. That Ancestry searching has taken over my life. It's so much fun though. This week I've traced my Whipple line waaaay back! Lol! Remember the TP commercials with Mr. Whipple? I thought it was such a funny name... who knew?! Haha!

Isn't that always the way it is! ? :-) Well, at least this will be the only heat you will have to endure. We enjoyed Halloween at our daughter's but there weren't very many kids. I can't believe Veterans day is next Tuesday! Then Thanksgiving is barreling down on us...and we all know what's next! Somehow time is getting away from me! :-)
