That cake? Shame on you! Will you mail me a slice, please. I'll give you my address. LOL
I could NOT find the car, and it's too early (for me). :(
I understand, of course, about the older kids and cold hard cash. I sure hope they have a great trip.
Are you retired yet?
xoxo
I scanned for the car but didn't see it.
As for gifts, I think we will always do stockings, but we set limits, especially for the adults.
I'm gonna keep looking until I find that *&%$ car! :)
xoxo
That car search almost made me blind when I tried it on facebook. But I did finally see the little car. I need a slice of that cake too- just drop a slice in the mail please. LOL!
What a wonderful post. Though it did make me hungry! Ha.
I found the car.......
It sounds like you and your family will have a wonderful Christmas. Times change don't they?
Happy Holidays.
I swear your blog always makes me gain a couple pounds. I found the car And that one about the date is funny but rather sad.
We're having Avery lean Christmas here as well
Found the car! Whoohooo!!!
I'll bow out on the cake, thanks...but only because I've so many Christmas sweet treats around here at present! lol You cake sounds great. :)
Do I have to date this?
If I don't get back before Christmas...I hope you and your family have a very Merry Christmas...a great one...and I hope 2018 treats you all kindly. :)
Ha, ha. The teacher "date" is hilarious. Couldn't find the car. Made me dizzy. LOL Great food and Merry Christmas to you and yours!
no use freezing the cake, it would be gone in 3 days. Made your toffee and pralines this last week twice.MMMMMMMM
I know all about the kids getting older and the buying just isn't as fun as it used to be. I still make sure everyone gets something to read, some socks and something fun, like a toy of some sort.
Oooooh I love having slices of homemade cake in freezer bags, just ready for a late-night snackie attack. That cake looks scrumptious. We've scaled back a bit too, not least because with two weddings looming and many other expenses, there just aren't the funds. No matter! All we need is love. Lots of that to you, my friend! xoxo
Found the car, easy because I have a Volkswagen, lol
