Happy New Year!

Happy New Year!  And there's nothing more wonderful than Rod Stewart ringing in the year with his version of Auld Lang Syne...

Good morning, Friends...We had a really fun Christmas morning. The kids turned up and we all enjoyed the Taco breakfast.  Of course, Sloane had a really good time...We love our babies over the Moon!
Hope you all had a wonderful day?  Now it's almost a new year!  Can you believe it?  I never imagined I'd be writing 2025 on checks (yes, I still pay a few things with checks...like donations).  God has been good to us!  Still alive and kicking...lol

I made some Cranberry Pecan Cookies...really good!

I made air fryer chicken and dressing for Larry and myself on December 26th...and this is about the time Larry started getting sick with his yearly, and I do mean yearly, sinus infection and cough...every year, like clockwork.

A scene from the 1950's...I still remember our small television from 1957...I was born in 1951.  TV night was always fun...we were glued to the screen until Mom made us head to bed.  Sister Ruth Ann and I were in school by then...I was 6.

I made Biscuits & Gravy Casserole...Larry loved it.

This is a touching image of Crystal and her grandfather, Gerald (Larry's Dad) who's just turned 99.  You never know when it'll be your last hug...They don't see much of each other...(Crys is almost 3 hours away)...mainly at family gatherings.  Gerald seems to be going downhill...he was so feeble at breakfast.  I mentioned it to Larry though, so I know he'll be watching.  He almost fell which is so unlike him.

I think Sloane was just about walking on her own last nerve...lol...getting sleepy.

I can't seem to find a decent collage maker...Any suggestions?  I know I post a lot of photos at times... I think this would cut down on the amount.  Can't have you all falling asleep in your chairs! lolol

This was sent to me by my GranDaughter-in law, Sara (now in Hungary) for my Christmas.  We drew names.  They shred almost anything you want!  Garlic, onions, bell peppers...etc.  I love them!

Well, nothing really left to report on, from this last week.  I've got a lab appointment next week, my yearly doctor's appointment.  It'll be with a new doctor as our last one retired...don't you hate when that happens??  Trick is to get a doctor younger than yourself.  And our new one, is that!  Larry has already seen him and says he's a good kid...give him a chance...well okay then...lol

Well, I suppose I'll head to the barn...Please have a safe and happy week...stay out of trouble and have a
Happy New Year, wherever you are!

Oh, I love a Rod Stewart song. He was my favorite back in the day. I chuckled when you said you still write checks out.....me too! I still pay the bills that way. Your cranberry pecan cookies look scrumptious. And that chicken! What a beautiful picture of the Christmas tree and the family watching tv. Reminds me of Jess and her two girls. Oh my, Larry's dad is 99, he's looking pretty good. I love that picture of the girl blowing bubbles, so cute. And I think that's what I like about your blog, lots of photos. I appreciate a good photo more than a collage, so don't worry you're posting too many photos. Some of them are priceless, like the look on Sloane's face when she's getting sleepy. I hope your lab appt. is Ok next week. And a wish that the new year brings much goodness to your life, Donna.

Sue uses PS (as in Photoshop) Express for collages and after a little learning curve at first can crank them out easily and well now. I think it’s $50/yr, so I guess more like $30 in your currency. If you want to do a lot and well and easily, it may be worth it. I am sure they give you a short trial. That’s on the phone, If you want to do them on the computer, I am not sure that I know a good solution, unless you can do that on the computer too.

Happy New Year to you and your entire family.
Hope your sweet Man doesn't get his annual sinus problems. Not the best way to welcome in the new year.
Wow, on your FiL's being 99. Hug him and love him just as much as you can.
Poor Sloane does look like she is on her last leg... Sleep will do wonders...

Rod Stewart may be getting old but he still has one hell of a voice.
Those cookies look so good. And I never get the least bit sleepy looking at your pictures. I enjoy your posts so you go ahead and use as many pictures as you want. Love the ones of Crystal with her grandfather.
That is such a unique gift you got. I don't think I have ever seen dishes like that before.

Love your pictures, and I have Rod Stewarts Christmas CD I bring out every year. We ordered a airfryer from Amazon in November and it got lost.....They have been tracking it, but can't find it so today they issued a refund. Guess I'll just go to Walmart and buy one. All your airfryer food looks so good. I'm anxious to try one out.
How special to have a grandpa who is 99. Love the pictues of the love.
Happy New year, and get those posts coming...we love them.
I use to have a collage maker called Monkey Pic... but that was years ago.

Happy New Year! Hope your husband avoids the sinus stuff or the flu as it is going around and takes at least a month to recover.

Happy New Year to you all Donna. A beautiful post, all lovely photos especially poignant with Larry's Dad. And hoping that Larry doesn't get his sinus problems. Such a cute expression on Sloane's face in that last photo. Those AI pictures are great too. Happy New Year to you and your sweet family Donna.

Happy New Year to you and your lovely family, Donna! Sorry to hear about Larry's yearly sinus infection, though. I thought I was in for another cold for the third year running, but thankfully nothing came of it.
I'm loving that photo of Sloane looking tired, and the one of Crystal with her granddad. That's so precious!
As for collages, I am using ipiccy.com, perhaps you can have a look and see if it meets your requirements. xxx
