Life...Sickness, Food and Guard dog

Good morning Friends...
Well, another week is fast passing us by.  It's been a little quieter around here, thank goodness.  Just the usual doctor wellness check-ups.  But Sloane needed a place to stay...wasn't feeling good for several days prior to us keeping her.  But as soon as she saw me, she lighted up and it was non-stop action after that.

A much needed nap...

At first, she stated that she liked this flavor... (I keep these things for her in case she won't eat regular food). Then after I took this photo, she said, "Gamma?  Please don't buy this ones again...I really don't like it."  Lol
I assured her that I wouldn't.
Then she ate a whole corny dog...and a slice of thick ham.

Sloane and Lottie...

My new toaster is doing a wonderful job!

I make this dish frequently simply because it's good and we love it.
Chicken thighs and Sweet potatoes.

Here's the picture of that pepper sauce I told you about in my last post...wonderful over a block of cream cheese with crackers.

Isn't this a cute idea for or a holiday cake?  This is Halloween but you can easily change it to any holiday!

This happens way too often!  Shame on some kids these days and parents that never taught them proper manners!

Larry is the main Mail Checker of the family.  I'm sure all of you know what I'm talking about.  He has always liked bringing it in and I'm very happy to let him.
Well, we don't always hear the mailman as our TV room is in the back of the house.  Guess what I found for him!  A notifier!  The box you see is in the room with us and the other smaller box sits inside the mailbox.  When the mailman (or a thief) opens the box door, it sends a signal to the box in the TV room!  Ding Ding Ding...We used it for the first time yesterday...So Nice not to have to continually check to see if the mailman has been around!  Now we know!

And lastly, Daddy had to rush out to bring in garbage cans...he was having a snack of several different cheeses...Libby was sooo excited because she knows that Daddy will give her and Buddy a sample... She was told Not to touch the plate... so she decided to guard it, instead...lolol
I swear Daddy was gone every bit of six or seven minutes...and she stood guard over the cheese, like a champ...lol
Well, that's it for us...so until next time...
