All's Quiet...

All is pretty quiet here on the home front. Haven't blogged in almost a Week! Bad girl! It's been a sad and happy week for us. My cousin Donna, who lives in Connecticut, passed away Tuesday after a nine month battle with cancer...I'm SO damn sick of death...She has a twin, Roni, who is just "out there" in limbo...I wish I were there...And we Still have the wedding to get ready for, even though things are pulling together nicely. Cake and flowers...etc...are done. Dresses, done...Church decorations, done...honeymoon plans, done...photographer Sarah, done.

I did a bit of laundry and cooking yesterday. Nothing much else. Crystal brought Will so he could spend the night. It was cartoons and giggles for the rest of the night...nice.

Well, guess I'll go find something else to wipe, clean, fix or throw out. Y'all have a Wonderful Sunday!

Monday...Again!

Good Monday Morning to you! Hubby and I spent a nice, peaceful weekend doing Nothing! That's always nice. I really enjoyed seeing all the photos on The Brenda Photo Challenge Saturday! Go back to catch the late entries and ALSO check the Comment section for people who couldn't enter using the "blue link button!) and all of a sudden I look up and stare straight ahead in amazement...thinking..."what's that Voice I hear?".....Looking to my right where the big screen is sitting...It's HIM!!! That MAN that heralds in..."old age"....Lawrence FLIPPIN' Welk!!!Hahahaa....I just stared at him. He has arrived! I actually am liking the tune I'm hearing....OMG!!! When did THIS happen!???!!!

It's 20 after 7pm here....and I'm listening to Larence Welk on PBS!! I guess it's my bedtime. Now where did I put my nightcap? I guess I had too much peanut butter last night and not enough prunes....LOL

Both of the above are photos of my sister's handwork...The top one is my favorite....She does Everything by hand...Gorgeous work! I have NO patience when doing needlework...Ruth Ann has been quilting for years.

These are dolls that my Dad made in the last few years of his life. I love the red lips.
