Happy 14th Birthday Samantha!!! This is our Grandaughter...she was Once tiny...I could hold her on my lap and get some Really Great neck sugars...she'd scrunch up her shoulders and giggle...I'd stop and she'd lower her shoulder again wanting me to go in for another sugar...and the giggling would start all over again...I'd be laying in bed reading...there'd be a little hand tapping on my hip, wanting me to turn over to help her up onto the bed..."Lets Read Gamma...you need a story..." and we'd read because...I needed a story...
"How much do you love me?", I'd say......"This much", she'd reply, holding her arms out as far as she could reach...."Forever and Ever?" I'd say....."Forever and Ever", she'd reply...
She'd lay her hand on mine and I'd find myself thinking that one day it would be as big as mine but I also knew, that wouldn't happen for many years yet....there was plenty of time....right...Well, that time has arrived. Her hand is as big as mine. Time did not stop...I'm in the "Autumn" of my life now as she is in the "Spring" of hers...
