88 Day Count!

Went looking for another tree this weekend...I found several I'm interested in and they're All easy to put up and take down! No more of that separate branch stuff!Hahaa...

There were 5 walls of ornaments! Goodness!

This one really speaks to me...LOL...$200.00...OFF original price!!! But boy is it pretty. SO! How are You doing with getting prepared for the holidays? I also bought a small package of napkins for Thanksgiving along with a few wall and front door decorations for Fall. Other than that, we haven't really been doing Anything! Inventory was finished up here at the workplace last week and I entered the amount into the system...and other than laundry and all that boring stuff...it's just a dry bone here!LOL...Hope you all have a happy week!

Sounds of Silence

Sometimes, when I get home from work, Especially lately, I come into the house...check on little Dog, and just sit on the couch listening to the...silence! No phones ringing, no TV blaring, no radio...just silence. I close my eyes and just...listen...Nothing. Peace...how nice. BUT, that only last for a few minutes but at least it allows me enough time to get centered again and start planning supper. Asking Hubby, on the way out from work, what he'd like, he suggested I make potato soup...Yes! Sounded good, so I did! It hit the spot...If you want my recipe go HERE.Well, here's hoping you all are having a good Wednesday...Now I have to think of something Else for tonight's supper!LOL...never ending job!

Wings and Things...

Anyone know what this thing is? It landed on my kitchen window screen yesterday...Had to be at least three inches across in width...Stayed there till evening and flew off.

And does anyone know what This is??Hahaaa...Mac & Cheese, homemade by Hubby! He made it before I could snap pictures! But it was delicious! Bell pepper, onion, peas,corn, tomatoes, elbow macaroni, cheddar cheese, mozzarella, cream....man-o-man!

Well, it's Raining here again! I'm Not griping though...although it's Nothing like the poor people in Georgia!! Bless their hearts! The high today is suppose to end up being in the high 70's...nice!

Well, guess I'll look around the office and find something else to do...there's Always something waiting for attention! Have a happy and safe day everyone!

OH! AND PS- My Daughter, Crystal has DELETED her BLOG!! TART!! She didn't ask ME if she could do that!!! WHAT??? I'm The Mammy!!!LOL...She DID say she wanted to create a NEW look and Title...she said Everyday Life, Love and Happiness was created when she was sad and lonely and unloved...gads.....her words, NOT mine...(See what you men cause?)LOL...So I guess I'll let you know the NEW site address when she "thinks of one"....

OH! PPS- Is this the FIRST DAY of FALL??? OMWord! It's in the high 60's today! What happened to those dog days of Summer? Oh Well, Happy First day of Fall!

Cranking up the old crock pot with "the mix"...onion, carrots, bell pepper and parsley...(I don't like celery...Hahaa)

Remember that song? Oh Sure you do! You know, the one that goes..."99 barrels of Christmas on the wall...." WHAT?? Christmas? Did I say Christmas? Well, YES I DID!Hahaaa....99 More Days People!! I'm a Lover of Christmas;bet you didn't know that...And I love everything that Christmas entails! But, things are tighter around here this year (my own budget, my own choice) and I need to buy Another tree again! Remember I bought a new one last year?? Hahaa...Well, It got given to charity...You had to place EACH BRANCH individually on the tree...NO THANK YOU!!! So the hunt will begin Again...soon.

Grandparents Day Lunch with William

Here's the lunchroom...and Trust Me, it was COLD in there! Crystal paid for our lunches which consisted of...a hamburger...great BIG fries covered in mystery spice...and tea. And can you Believe William wouldn't give us a great big old honking Kiss when we were leaving??? Don't they still give kisses in 4th grade??Hahahaha.....Happy hump day everyone!!

Starlight, Starbright

My daughter's boyfriend, Tim, use to work on an Arabian horse farm here in Waco...Patrick Swayze would bring his horses here to ride, play and drink a few beers...sit around a campfire and share horse stories...Tim said he was a wonderful and caring man in all he said and did. May the Angels lead him down his final trail...in love.

Well, we've got company coming this weekend and I'm trying to make up my grocery list! I can Never remember everything we need without it! I've been known to end up at the store minus the list and get right back in the car...head home...grab it and try again! It's in front of me now...I can't think of a THING I want to make!!! I've got "List Block!!!!"Hahaa...And I don't think dog food will be enough! Steaks maybe? A roast? Big salad? A dead Duck maybe???LOL...Lord!

A Nice Long Weekend!

Hopefully it'll rain some more...pitter patter of raindrops on my roof to lull me into a peaceful state of existance while Twittering and Facebooking...Hahaaa...Not really. No, I'll also be reading...something...Oh yes, I need to finish a Rhys Bowen English murder mystery. I love a good English cozy! SO! It's Useless...

Matt the Plumber (wonderful cook) has been at it again!! Every time I find myself loosing a half pound...along comes something to put it back on again...Don't know what this is but it was Wonderful! Ooooosey, Cheesey...Flour tortillas, some sort of creamy cheese, real rat cheese, hamburger meat...It was just Good! Thank You Matt the Plumber!!
