I must admit that it IS getting warmer. It's been hovering around 100 degrees for days now. We have a slight chance for rain Thursday...maybe. I will Not complain though. I DO NOT like the cold and especially cold with rain. I'll suffer the heat Anyday.
Hahahaa....Oh my goodness...We have friends that live in San Antonio. Tom and Bev. They live in a Beautiful, newly built home out in the country. They have lots of wildlife running around on land and in the air. Deer, raccoons, turkey, fox...rabbits...and Barn Swallows. These are some some barn swallow Babies...LOL...This nest is up under an eve on the front porch. Tom has put a water bucket under the nest in hopes of catching some of the droppings but says when the wind blows, it's useless. They Are cute but...it seems their "parents" are just pigs!

Today is Flag Day...God Bless and Keep the United States of America. Did you know it's a myth that Betsy Ross created and designed our first flag? A man by the name of Francis Hopkinson from New Jersey should receive the credit. Why can't schools get the history Right? I grew up believing it was Miz Betsy as well...I have Since learned to, Stop Believing Everything I'm Told and to do some research on my own. FOX news aired this story this morning.
Time to head to Sam's Club for our meat shopping day. I Really wish we had a Costco...but we don't. Found some good deals, brought them home and used the VacPac on them then threw them in the freezer. 'Gotta keep Hubbys demands in supply!Hahaa...Anyhoo, not much going on here. Had Sweet William the grandson over last night while Crys and Tim had a double date with some friends...We're just resting, but Not before having a small bowl of Pistachio Ice Cream by Blue Bell...We love the stuff. 
Hahahaa....this is what happens when you find you have some time to play...It's raining cats & dogs, the phones are slow and I've been a good girl and gotten all my work done. I went home at lunch time to make sure the outside drains weren't clogged because of the speed of the rain coming down, when I spied my Caladiums getting a good soaking. Hence, the photo. Then I make it back to work and load it up on the computer. Had fun playing but have No idea HOW it got this way!Hahaa...Looks like something you'd see underwater in Cancun....Oh well, can you tell there's absolutely Nothing happening here? But that's a GOOD thing...I hate drama.

All of these were taken in the small town of Westphalia. It Use to be a busy little place with markets, a school....gone now. Boarded up and left to Mother Nature. It IS for sale if anyone's interested but I don't think you'd have many customers.
How about a nice hot cuppa coffee with some vanilla yogurt and vanilla & almond granola? Blast Crystal for starting this Disgusting habit....Karma will ultimately find her! Hope you all are having a Wonderful day already...Maybe you can have yogurt for lunch...Hahaaa....
Look at the price for unleaded! Hubby and I went shopping at Green's Sausage Haus, Saturday, and I told him to stop at an old gas station/store on the way home. I saw an opportunity to get some nice shots for The Brenda Photo Challenge due THIS SATURDAY!!LOL...(Just a reminder...) This should tell you how long the old store has been closed! I think the last time I saw this kind of pricing, I was first married. Incredible!
