Hi Everyone! Well, we're Back! Finally! I only have the strength to load these two photos.Hahaaaa..... The Grand Canyon was Truly, Grand!! How Beautiful it is. It was one of those "take your breath away" moments. I could not believe the beauty that this photo just does Not convey...Of course Hubby and I had a good laugh while taking this shot....
Hubby: Now honey, one more step.....just one more...
Me: Here? Here? One more??
Hubby: Yes my love....just One more....
Hahaaaaaa......but I tricked him...I kept moving Forward!
We Also now know WHY there's been so many deaths at the Grand Canyon! See the top photo??? MORON!!! No Matter how many warnings they are given, they Still do Very stupid things! Unbelievable stunts! We are now no longer sympathetic! If you are told NOT to do something because you could DIE....Don't Do It!! Simple! At this point, it's ONE MILE DOWN!
We traveled almost 2800 miles round trip and still feel like we're rolling along on the road! Most of the hotels we stayed at had hard beds, hard pillows and A/C's that turned on and off using sensors!! Drove us Nuts! I love technology, but this is ridiculous!
I'll post more later about the highlights and lowlights over the next few weeks...Don't want to give you "Trip Overload!" Hope you all are safe and well and enjoying your warm or cold evening!

Hi! Just came across your blog through another one I follow...and I had to laugh(and gasp) at the top photo. WHAT?!? Seriously people!!!!
I was at the Grand Canyon this past April and my hubby and I had almost the EXACT conversation....although I sat down and clung to the rock I was sitting on...even though I was no where near the edge:)) Just the thought of the height!!!!
Lovely photos...here and previous posts!
Thanks for sharing!!
Donna - you are gorgeous, and the GC is pretty too! I'm so glad you had a good time! :)
Thanks Dawn for the visit! Isn't it terrible that some people just don't listen?? We were amazed!
The Canyon was Glorious!
Hope you revisit soon!

Beautiful place isn't it! We went there once and I found out in a hurry I am deathly afraid of heights. I would have been more comfortable if there had been guard rails. hahaaa I wish I weren't so afraid because I would love to visit the river area at the bottom of the canyon someday. Maybe I could take a helicopter, but to ride a donkey down a trail or to hike - I don't think I could do that!
Great photos, Donna! The canyon looks amazing! Happy you had a good time and happy you're home.
Hugs,
Donna
Donna you look gorgeous and so happy.
The grand canion is awesome too, i love the colors of the "mountain layers".
:)
Lovely pictures....glad you had a great trip. The grand canyon is still on my bucket list. Someday!
Oh my goodness it is so great to have you back! Can't wait to hear all about it, blow by blow! I hear you re: hard hotel beds and cranky AC units. I can't sleep if not in my own bed. I know your pics will be gorgeous! And yes ... anyone who would go as close to the edge as that dude in the top photo deserves what he gets! IDJIT!
You are so pretty, Ms. Donna !! I am glad you are back and I am ready to here about more of your trip. The Grand Canyon is so pretty. Thanks for sharing that photo.
Remember everyone, don't forget to vote on Tuesday !!
So glad you enjoyed your trip. My only souvenir from the Grand Canyon during our stay (besides the hundreds of pictures) was a book about all the deaths that have occurred there. I got light headed just looking down, can't imagine climbing around.
Ahhhhhh....shame on that silly man! Great picture of you with the amazing canyon behind you. You're right ...pictures never convey the vast beauty of Grand Canyon.
Glad you're home safe and sound!
Hugs,
"A/C's that turned on and off using sensors!!"
My wife is thinking of installing a sensor in this AC.
i am so happy you had a great time Donna, i have thought about you ever single day i was gone, said from the heart

Donna we must be on the same thought train. I looked at your pics and the one more step idea popped up at me. I always take my own pillow when I travel. It was good to hear you on my blog, welcome back.Maybe a raft trip next time in the canyon?
Oh my gosh! I have GOT to get to the grand canyon! That is one gorgeous photo and you don't look too bad yourself, lady!! Glad you had a good time!!

You are scaring me!! But, isn't it Grand? such scenery
It looks like you had a gorgeous day there Donna. I would be no where near the edge let me tell you.

Thank you for your words you left...love nita...{a wayward child} :)
Oh I can't wait to hear about the food and the drunk couple, lol!!!!
You are sensible about staying a bit away from the edge! hahaha, hubby tried to trick you! Silly man. It's unbelievable about the morons who test their limits. Survival of the fittest and smartest, I say! Love pic, my dear!!!
I would have been REALLY FAR from the edge with a rope tied around my waist...just in case!!! Love your pic! You look terrific and so do the Grand Canyon!!
Thanks guys...it was a beautiful place to see...

Thank you for posting pics of the Grand Canyon. I'm glad you didn't step back and who the hell is the fool on the rock out there?
The Grand Canyon is a beautiful place. I went there with my family probably 20 years ago. I would love to go back someday as well. Glad you had a wonderful trip!
Nice shots, you look a little scared, lol.
Wow! Look at you, pretty lady!! You are bee-utiful, Miss Donna! And yes, they are so many morons out there that places like that have to put up signs... hard to believe, isn't it!
