I got to get away for a few minutes at lunch time today so I headed to the bookstore. While strolling along my favorite aisle, Photography...Hahaa....(not that I've done much in the way of improvement) I spied a book called
How To Cheat in Photoshop....WHAT??? Brother, I had to look at This!!Lolol. Looked easy....SO, I bought it. See the photos above? See the electric lines running through the second one? I learned how to remove them!! I think I see some of the lines but I was starting to get cross-eyed! And yes, I think I over did the sponge action on the wisteria blooms a bit but I was afraid to change tools at that point so I just saved the photo. It's not a professional job...and I need tons, more practice! But, I did it! Now I need to go out and take some more shots of other things I can remove...Hahaaa....The book says it's for PS9 but it works for PS3 to PS9. It doesn't take much to make me happy...Now where is that coffee cup.......

I need that book too or we need to load up and go to TN to see Ms. Donna for some lessons! lol Photoshop is so frustrating to me.

I think you did great! As soon as I get this darn school and CPA exam behind me, I plan to take some photography classes somewhere, because it just ain't happening on my own.

I was just talking how you don't always see those lines until too late. The purple could tone down a bit. Lovely share, I will forward photos to you for repair.

Hooray for cheating :) I have to admit that I have that same book except mine in for photoshop elements 7...lol I haven't looked at that book in quite some time, I may have to pull it out again

I love working with my clone brush in my software ... it's like magic.
Gosh, I had no idea you could remove somewhat "imbedded" items from a photo. (Then again, I'm not much of a photographer.) That's really impressive! Can't wait to see what other applications out of that book you use and apply to photos! :-)

I've wanted to learn photoshop techniques, too -- but I just haven't made time to do so
Oh gee, I need me that book. I have no luck figuring out much without a decent book...even though you can learn everything by googling! I learn by just doing but adobe photoshop is such a huge program, it'll take me too long and I want instant results! I often use Picasa.
I like the idea of being able to remove stuff and pop certain elements. Good job with the colour of the flowers!
