Did he love us kids?? You bet he did...Was he a hard worker? You bet he was...Never knew a stranger and was always there when you needed him....In some ways, he still is. For those of you that are blessed in being able to throw your arms around your Dad today...do it like there will be no tomorrow....Let them know that you'll love them till the end of time....Happy Father's Day Guys!

I never knew my dad or had him around, so I'm that much more grateful for what an excellent dad my TG has been to our four. We have been so blessed. I LOVE the picture of your parents! Those wartime lovey-dovey pics are so poignant. And I've said it before but I'll say it again: the family resemblance between you and your folks and your children is astonishing. Happy Father's Day!

What a beautiful photo, Donna. Just a classic. Your dad looks like he was a happy and inspiring kind of guy too.
I'm sorry he's not around anymore, but I'm smiling at the thought of the wonderful memories you have of him, and how his memory lives on.
Hugs!
