SkyWatch Friday

Open skies of New Mexico....Hope you all are having a good week! It's been getting colder here in Texas...finally. Not much going on. Just looking forward to Friday and a peaceful weekend. I really need to get out and about with my camera! I seem to be scrapping the bottom of the barrel when it comes to photos. I constantly seem to be just doing two things...working and going home...period. I think it's called, being in a rut. Oh well, got a few Christmas things to wrap (hate doing the wrapping at the last minute!) and list to make out...should keep me busy for a little while...Enjoy your day and have a cuppa coffee on me!!

That is some cooooooooool photo! Lovely sky but my eye is drawn to the horse sculpture! Magnificent.

I too have to get out with my camera more! I'm grabbing old pics, which I put on an old blog, ages ago... And posting them! lol... But I have no good excuses, like you do.

Gentle hugs,

What a pretty sky.
I can't believe your wrapping presents already. I don't even have any bought.
I think I'm in that same rut as you are. I've been digging into old files for pictures.
I think I'll take you up on that cup of coffee

What a beautiful area - and such a gorgeous blue sky!

Beautiful sky there! Yes, I am stuck in that rut with you, LOL. Set a time for a photo shoot and just DO it! Heck fire, if I was there, I'd be ringing your doorbell and dragging you out of the house!

Such a gorgeous photo! Sounds like you're working too hard though. Hope you're able to make some free time for yourself. I can't believe we're into November already, but I'm loving the cold, crisp autumn weather. Even started my Christmas shopping!
Hugs to you, dear friend!

I just LOVE those western skies!!! I simply could not get enough of them...when we were out in S. Dakota and Wyoming last year....it seemed the blue went on forever!!! Great shot!! Take some time to rest this weekend Donna...we are heading into a pretty stressful period for everybody...the holidays can be tough!!

Dear One, re: your comment on my blog today... About my putting my own Backgrounds on my blog...

I find a pic of some pretty fabric, on the Net. Then I download that pic. If it's about 300 x 300, it will fit.

Go to:
Design
New Editor
Template Designer
Background
Click on right side of "Background
Image" Box
Under "Select background" image,
click on "Upload Image"
From what comes up next, you can
select the pic, you choose

Then remember to click on "No
Scroll," so your Background
will not MOVE, when reading
your blog.

Naturally, you can find any pic you choose, for your own Background. I have just had luck, looking for simple fabric pics. Since they have the same 'look,' all across the pic. And the Background doesn't "show" as much, that it is actually made up of small tiles.

I think we are supposed to be able to place a whole pic, as our Background, but I can not figure out
what dimensions, a whole pic, should be, to do this. -sigh-

Gentle hugs...

Since gift bags came in vogue, I no longer even try to wrap, which is good since I wrap like a 5 year old.

Awesome photo Miz Donna!

Maybe after the holidays I'll be in a better mood to do the photo challenges again. Right now I wish I could sleep all the time and not even think but I'm barely sleeping at all. I wish I could reach my butt to kick it.

Whoa Nellie! This is beautiful, Donna. Great composition. The clouds are wonderful.
