I know there are many more "first" she has to experience in life...so we can mark "steering a boat" off that list! I remember my first time...Empowered!Hahaaa...I loved it! I think that first shot of Sami right after Tim told her to take the wheel, says it all. Fear...which turns into wonder, which finally turns into delight. Crystal took these shots...Is it Summer here already? You bet it is.

Girl it's summer here too! Hot and humid, I can never figure out which is worse. Glad to see Tim, Crystal, and Sami know how to cool off!
She didn't want to do it after she took the wheel but Tim and I told her to so she did. It's weird driving one. Sure not like driving a vehicle!
I have only driven a boat once in my life but it was a blast! Good for her!!!
I have driven a boat several times in my life and I had the time of my life !! Could never get it into the slip, though !! hahaha

My girls started pretty young,but I always liked to see them at the helm.
her expressions are priceless! excellent shots. we had a taste of summer over the holiday weekend, but then a cool front came through and the furnace has been kicking it at night. highs have been in the mid-fifties with lows close to 40. I've never driven a boat... don't think I've been in a boat in over 20 years! It does look like fun though.
She looks a bit terrified, but I bet she secretly loved it!! Reminds me of my daughter's face when she was learning...and now she has her own boat and takes off like a pro!!
I am not a fan of driving...I'm a great passenger...as long as we keep moving. If the boat stops, I get very sick!
