Jack...

This is Jack...He belongs to an old friend we stopped to see on our way to New Orleans a few weeks ago.  He loves to stand at the open door and watch the hummingbirds at the feeders.  Being that her house is in New Iberia, Louisiana, and the weather is conducive to  "hey, look here, my soil can grow ANYTHING..."  Hahaaaa......and the hummers flock to her thirteen feeders...yes, I said thirteen.  That's a Lot of feeders and birds!  Keeps Deb Very Busy!
As usual, there hasn't been much happening here except maybe the Shut-Down...No, you don't want to know how I feel about that right now except certain people need to stop playing with our country.  We are ALL getting tired of it both Left AND right!
SO, as I sit hearing Supreme Leader's voice, I'll get up and go get another coffee.

What a cute picture! I am watching Obama, too. And he makes sense when he says the governments job is to work and to work things out, not quit in a temper tantrum.

Jack looks like a cutie! My, my, 13 hummingbird feeders? She must buy sugar by the barrel, LOL!

Our government is in such a mess. I am so disgusted with the whole lot. It will be a race to see which will ruin the country first - the national debt or Obamacare. God help us.

I can hardly keep one feeder going---imagine 13!!! Wow! That must be fun to sit and watch. Move over, Jack.

Yes, we're in a mess! No two ways about it. You know SO much more about it than I do though.

I love this picture, it is too cute for words...and you know I have about 18 feeders for the hummers. have them scattered over 6 acres and it is a lot of work but I adore those little birds! I love to watch them drink from the waterfall at the pond. We are missing them, haven't seen one in several days so guess they are headed back to SA

Jack's awesome. From the back he looks sort of like a goat. I especially love your friend's "GO AWAY" mat. I do not do "Welcome" mats. The closest I come is "Maybe You're Welcome, Maybe You're Not," LOLOLOL. Dear Leader? The sound of his voice makes me physically ill so in the interest of my health, I tune him all the way out.

Dear Donna

Aww Jack is so beautiful!!! I'm sure the thirteen bird feeders keep him by the door all day!

I have a penchant for Jack Russell's - which I'm presuming he is?
My daughter in France has a darling one called Roxy, she carried her in her bag when she lived in Paris!
They all now live the quiet life in a lovely village in the countryside!

Hugs
Shane
(I'm now following you)!

Awww, I need a "Jack" in my life, or a maybe a nice kittycat.

13 Birdfeeders is wild! I have trouble keeping one filled. It's completely empty by the end of each day, and I was sure it wasn't the birds. I finally caught the culprit... Squirrel! It hangs by it's tail, grabs the feeder, turns it upside-down, dumps it, and hurries down to dine! Now we have to come up with a squirrel proof feeder. I love squirrels, but the seed is getting very expensive with his big appetite! Lol!
