We had some rain that turned into ice yesterday...slippery roads, but this morning? Roads are dry! SO glad of that. I see the eastern side of the US are having a tough time of it...I just don't know how you do it! Just be safe...
I'm going for a coffee...check on you all, later...and NO, I didn't bring cake to work with me...Hahaaaa

brrrrr....yes, yesterday here in Lubbock was COLD...a little snow, a little ice...supposed to be better today.

A few weeks ago I got a stand for my monitor and keyboard here at work that goes up and down so I can work sitting or standing! So now I can eat all the cake I want LOL! Just kidding but you should check it out. It's been abnormally cold here but we are tough! Looking forward to Spring though!!!
Okay then, that cake? Wow - looks so good. I'm only one day from being off the steroids and hoping my "affection" for food will go away. :)
It sounds like Jeanette has found a good way to work without having to sit the whole day. Wish we'd had that back in the stone age when I worked. LOL

I refuse to look a recipes on Pinterest! Glad your roads are dry. We are still iced in with more snow on the way tonight and in the morning possibly!

I just don't eat anything at work unless it is healthy. Not that it helps with the spread....but I imagine it could be worse.

I made a pecan pie two days ago. Had some for breakfast and dinner yesterday. One of my favorite nuts also.
WOW that is a gorgeous cake! I too have a weakness for pecans. We've had some dicey weather and it's wet again today but not *supposed* to get to freezing or below, or at least not for long. So we will keep our fingers crossed. Happy coffee-ing! xoxo
OMG, that does look tasty. I love pecans too. Could eat them by the handful! Even tastier embedded in sweet icing. hahaha..... Glad that the bad weather has exited your part of the country. It was miserable again this week with more snow. But I think we'll turn a corner for the better once the calendar changes to March. Goodbye and good riddance to February!
