Thank You Lord God in Heaven...Let Freedom Ring!

Good morning, Friends...It's been a trying week!  These last four years have been trying but this last week has been almost unbearable.  I'm sure you have felt it, as well...I don't know how younger families have been making it! Food...utilities...fuel...daycare...lack of jobs...businesses closing...healthcare...taxes...21 million Illegals being welcomed at our borders in massive amounts while Americans are shunned, in amounts never before seen in these United States!  The plan to turn America into a third world country has almost succeeded... Sorry Obama...No New World Order, today!  I pray President Trump goes after George Soros first!
We vote Conservative because of our children...grandchildren and greatgrands!  It's a God, Country and Freedom thing!

I am vehement in my attitude because we have a beautiful family...full of babies that deserve to live free!

And yes, we celebrate the coming four years!  No shame here...

Lunch...so good!

I love my air fryer!

We both have doctor visits this month...

Air fryer breakfast...so good!

We went to breakfast at Cracker Barrel yesterday to celebrate President Trumps victory!

Made some Fancy Oatmeal Cookies

This cookie recipe was given to me by our next-door neighbor, Evelyn.  She worked for Southwestern Bell (now AT&T) for years.  A co-worker gave the recipe to her...The shortening in the cookie makes for a crisp cookie!  We Loved these!

Granddaughter Sam sent me this recipe for Pecan Pie Cookies...Dang!  SO GOOD!

We will finally enjoy an FDA (food & drug administrator) who actually knows what he's...doing!  Getting all the poison out of our food!

President Trump did NOT call Puerto Ricans garbage!!!   He was referring to the mass amounts of floating garbage that is taking over the shores of Porto Rico!!!  The people have begged the United States for help in cleaning it up...to no avail and BIDEN KNOWS IT!

This was a last-ditch attempt to get votes for Harris...didn't work!  When Biden called President supporters "garbage"...that did it!  He thought we were stupid...and laughed at 51% of Americans, whom he called garbage...who's laughing now!

President Trump is a New Yorker, plain and simple!  If you get offended by his way of speaking...so sorry!  New Yorkers have their own way of talking to each other, I know!  I was born in Connecticut and have family from the Bronx, to Queens to New Jersey!  They may sound gruff but most have huge hearts!  Stop believing all the gossip and do some honest research on him!  If he says he's going to do something, he'll do it...and not in 5 years either...He doesn't suffer politicians!
Okay...Now we wait to see what happens between now and Jan 20, 2025...

Now, if I have offended anyone...just get over it or move on.  I will be going back to very little political chatter now, at least until Inauguration Day.  This is my blog...my personal feelings about life.  Who I vote for shouldn't offend anyone because I have a God Given right to express myself (Our beloved 1st Amendment) just as you do, without fear of retaliation.  Friendship is a gift...one that I have offered to you.  If my views leave you upset or troubled, then...keep going.  I'm tired of all the butt-hurt feelings Far Leftist Liberals are throwing at us Conservatives. (Don't confuse them with old time Democrats...of which my family used to be, and Catholic, to boot!)
I love you all and shouldn't have to feel the need to explain...but, I do it anyway...because I value you.
So... I'll
either see you next time or I won't.  God's Speed.

Absolutely correct and spot on! especially the celebrities leaving the country part. I spend most of the year overseas (Arabian Gulf and Saudi) even news sites and people overseas are relieved and happy. The overall sentiment here is that had Kamala won, the war zones would have blown up big time, along with the world shipping and economy. This event is a divine gift that people should be grateful for.

Being an Englishwoman, I have no idea about American politics, I only know what I see in the media....which of course cannot be relied upon to be truthful! If you're happy, Donna, then I'm happy for you. Anyway, we in this country are in no position to pass judgement, with the way our Government is upsetting people left, right and centre. You have a beautiful family, you must be so proud of them all.

Great post today...I think everything you have said it totally in line and like you, I worry about my grandchildren and great grandchildren. I am thanking God for answered prayers and I am now looking forward to the change that this country so needs. It used to be that both parents worked so they could live a nice life, lately, both parents have to work and sometimes they have to work two jobs just to make ends meet. Thanks for this good post.

Hi Donna, Great post!!! I agree with every word! The American people have spoken -- loud and clear -- and it's a big rebuke to Obama and his ilk. We, too, are hoping for better times in the coming years. Thanks for posting this!!

Hugs,

Denise

I spend a lot of time commenting on politics news sites that use Disqus, like Mediaite, Political Wire, Newser...As a right-leaning moderate I get this type of reply often. Now a lot of lefties I know are sane, nice people. However this type of potty mouth is unfortunately common as well. Like all politics in the fast news cycle, this will blow over soon enough and be replaced by some other outrage...Cheers!

Love your recipes! And I also enjoy my air fryer. I will try the cooktop recipe.
Hope your eye feel better.

I was so afraid that I would wake up on November 6th to see that Harris had won the election and it was such a relief when I saw the results. The American people have spoken.
It infuriates me how democrats can take such a hateful attitude towards a person who doesn't support their candidate like June. We don't have to agree but a little human decency goes a long way. Her comment shows a total lack of maturity

We voted For President Trump too for children and grands. Even my 80 year old mom who has been a lifelong Democrat voted for him. God Bless America. Janice

Donna, I won't comment on any of your political views, peace be with you on that. But I was surprised to see the picture of Jesus wrapped in the design of the American flag, and wanted to mention that because I love Jesus so. As a Catholic, you are probably familiar with the Sacred Heart of Jesus. It is a Catholic devotion that symbolizes Jesus Christ's love for humanity (not just the United States, but for all the people in the world). I just bought the candle and lit it yesterday, what a special moment that was. Those pecan pie cookies look so good, and pecan pie is one of my favorites. Sloane is already trying on chap stick. The kids love to try on new jewelry and lipstick. The air fryer meals look delicious. And those pancakes!

Wishing you beautiful November days, Donna.

I'm right there with you Donna. I feel there is finally hope for our country and hope for us.
Since I live in California I am so disappointed but not surprised at all by the response of our Gov. Newsome. He's such an evil man and has surrounded himself with many puppets and bad people too. He has promised to make life difficult for Pres. Trump and make anything Trump wants done impossible to pass.
If we could move we would. Our state is in shambles because of this man and his push for the Presidency in 4 years.
Ok I will get off my soap box and get back to life and my blog.
Thanks for letting me spew too.

Most of the people in the United States elected Trump, how can they all be wrong?
I think most people just took their blinders off and saw that if the next four years were to continue that they would not be able to eat, make their health insurance and house/rent payments. Basic needs...food, clothing and shelter...should be attainable by a working couple with children.
I have hope for the economy now.

Just for the record, my friend, I am not offended by your beliefs and the fact that you shared your heart here about how you feel. Your food photos are always so beautiful...makes me hungry every time. :) Hope your recovery continues to go well.

It’s a great day to be alive, isn’t it? In all honesty, I was a little nervous about this election, considering they stole the last one, and now we have proof positive that they did. Hopefully this will be fully investigated, arrests will be made, and jail time be served. Seeing that Trump got the popular vote, a mandate, the House, the Senate, honestly if I could do a backflip, I would. Now pray for his safety, because you know the evil ones are all after him.

Wow, June seems to be having a melt down. People vote who they want to vote for and shouldn't be influenced by others who might not agree.
Great family photos especially Sloane and I love that delicious looking food. Have a wonderful weekend.

I found this election a real education Donna. I was brought up in a family who didn’t talk about politics but took note of everything going on, listened to both sides and then made their vote. Thanks for a very thought provoking post. I learned a lot by reading it. Always enjoy your family photos and great recipe, and always sending hugs. Have a great weekend :)

"President Trump did NOT call Porto Ricans garbage!!! He was referring to the mass amounts of floating garbage that is taking over the shores of Porto Rico!!!"

It was a comedian at the rally who said it, not Trump.

The media has done that to him so many times and it seems people just fall for it. Well, the majority has spoken and I hope the other party and the media pay attention.

Two new grands to love, that's wonderful ♥ I also am a Christian conservative and I agree with every word you said. The people have spoken. May God bless us all.

Love, love, LOVE every inch of this post buddy! I was so nervous on election day! Scared to death Harris would win and it would be the end of our beloved country! That Trump jumped ahead right from the beginning was wonderful and gave me confidence that he would win. It went so much better than I could have hoped for, and now we have control of the House and Senate, too! I am so thankful to God and the American People! Sloane is such a cutie and those recipes look so good! XO
