Easter...Machines and Me

Good morning friends!
Well, it's been a little while since I've posted.  We kept the babies...at our age, it takes strength...lol...and then rest...oh yeah! lol
Then...my new sewing machine conked out on me!  My little Singer that I use for doing the laborious task of piecing really started to act up on me.  Thread getting stuck in the needle hole...not letting me pull the fabric out...over and over so I gave up.  I'm working on a quilt and was getting frustrated at all the wasted stops and starts...cleaning...rethreading needles...yadayadayada...so off to the new quilt store for a replacement!  See it Here if interested.
I get it this Thursday...and yes, I have another machine to work on until it comes in... but I hate having to move all my things...I have dedicated areas for things...oh well, if you sew, you know.

Remember I told you we were having our front yard planted?  We really like how it all turned out.

Maybe in a few months the plants will fill out.

SO true! lol

While keeping the girls, little Lottie decides to practice her walking stance...lolol...won't be long now!

Pork loin...peas & carrots and gravy.  SO good!

Then I made smothered chicken and bow tie noodles.  Yum!

We ate out over the last several weeks, several times.  One was just awful and this BLT was from a country store called Miller's.   It's in the middle of nowhere, but so worth the drive.

Well, I guess that's it for me today.  Going to finish up cleaning out my sewing areas.
Hope you all enjoyed Easter and are well and safe...and happy!
Until next time...

Lottie looks ready to roll with the walking thing. so cute. your plants will grow and fill in and be beautiful. all I have in the back yard is dirt and leaves and weeds, the front yard has what we call God's Grass because what ever grows there we did not plant it or water it, we just cut it and I did cut it myself day before yesterday and today did the dirt, leaves and weed in the back

Oooh, the yard looks so nice! Also looks easy to maintain too, which helps our old bones. :) So excited for the new machine! It's so fun to get a new one, isn't it? Now to learn all the options on it....!

Little Lottie is going to be walking any time. Your lawn and planter looks nice. I always love that new layer of sod that goes in. Sorry to hear about your singer breaking down. Thursday will come soon enough, and it will be back to the sewing that you do so wonderfully. The pork loin covered in gravy looks really good. And the smothered chicken looks delicious as well. What a charming picture you created with the lady walking amongst all those pink roses. I wish you a good week, Donna.
