The Things We Do.....

Geez....For the past several weeks, I've just been Tired! Dragging Dog Tired....Couldn't figure it out. Till Now. Corky, the DOG, whines half the night....EVERY night. I've tried Everything!! He's done this since Crystal and the kids moved out in June. He's 17...old. I thought he was in pain...so I took him to the Doctor...nothing...Doc says it's just old age. Whining...I can't do Anything without him being Right there. Can't remember How many times I've almost tripped over him!! We love, pet, rub, scratch, bounce, play...sing to....WHAT?!!LOL...It's like having a Baby around! SO, last night, out of desperation, I grabbed his "blankie" and wrapped him in it....he slept ALL FRIGGIN NIGHT....OY!!!!!! (picture me banging my head on the wall)LOLHahaaa.....I need some of that chili that I made for supper and a Big old honking cup 'a coffee...Happy night everyone!!

Poor Corky! He is old, and therefore it can be something....

Have a nice weekend!:)

D2 has just been dogsitting an older dog and swears that she'll never get a dog. (They were thinking of getting two.)

I don't have any children , but I feel like I do have several babies in the house! They can be so demanding sometimes and yet we cater to them and spoil 'em rotten . But what would we do without them? I sure would miss them if they weren't here.

AC-Hahaaa...SMART D2!!!! Two?? Oh My...We had two dogs and one cat at one time...The older dog passed from stroke(I had to hold him at the Dr's) The cat passed naturally at 17 and now Corky is the LAST!!! It will drive you crazy AND tear you up at the same time!hughugs

Butterfly- I Love mine, but I just can't take them getting old...heartbreaker...hughugs

Where's my comment from yesterday? I know I wrote one, right there <--- or was it there ------>

Poor puppy, he misses the rest of the family.

How bout a bowl of that chili? Is is spicy?

17, that's impressive. I have a 15 year old poodle (well she's anywhere between 13 and 15) and she sleeps 20 hours or more a day. She's blind, deaf and roams the house aimlessly when she's not sleeping. Don't you wonder what they are thinking? THat chili looks great..maybe I'll make some ...have a great Sunday.

Something so easy a fix, don't ya just wish sometimes they could talk?
Hope now you get some good sleep. Chili sounds good and looks good

Poor darling!!!! Talk about separation anxiety - he has a huge dose. Maybe he would be happy in your bed with you - only joking - yuk - doggy breath at 2 in the morning would be unpleasant - and our old cocker spaniel who was 18 when he died had terrible wind problems and could clear a room!!!

Awe...that was so sweet of you to wrap him up all warm and snuggly. I cover my babies (Otis and Riley) every night with their blankets.

Boy, that chili sure looks good, oh yes, and a hot cup of coffee.

Hugs,
Donna
