What a day, huh? Well, we now have a new President and First Lady....May he lead us down the path of prosperity, and guide and protect us with a loving and knowledgeable hand. I pray he succeeds.
Poor Ted Kennedy had a seizure at the luncheon...much too long a day for someone so ill....and Yes, I'm a Republican! I pray for Everyone...hahaa. Seriously though, here's hoping he's just pooped and it's not more serious.
My Word, there were tons of people at the inauguration...I don't think I could have stood outside in 14degree wind chill to watch something like this. I've got HD...LOL
The 100 day honeymoon begins...lets hope he can get Something going. Ya'll have a smiling night.

Have at last popped across the pond to catch up with y'all. What a wonderful day for America - I watched all the excitement on TV earlier. And haven't you had some exciting times - I read about the thief adventure and the police - and I just love the look of that fried chicken. The beautiful feet are just perfect too..no words needed. Hope all your lovely family are well. Love and hugs,
Margot xx
PS. Don't know how new it is, but I love the new look of your Blog.
I'm Canadian and I wouldn't want to stand out for all sorts of hours in that weather. It shows how meaningful this has been for so many. All the best.
There were so many people there. There is no way I would be out in the cold for so long especially when you have to use porta potties! LOL
I didn't get to see even a second of the festivities so I suppose I'll have to catch the highlights that I'm sure will be shown over and over and over. He's got a really tough job ahead, that's a fact!
Stay warm down there dahling!
We tried to watch over the internet at work, but there was no getting through. We ended up listening to a radio broadcast.
I'm agreeing with you...but didn't get to watch anything....work and then class.
Because of time differences between our countries I could only catch a little of the whole affair. I must admit that I loved his speech and I wish all the very best for your country and all it's people. Yes it will be interesting to see when the honymoon period is over. He seems right for the job though.
Love and Hugs XXXXOOOO
I don't know about American politics, but I hope for you that you have got a good president for the US.
Have a nice day!
It certainly is a day to remember in US history; I hope he achieves his goals. We have had quite a lot of coverage here, but I have been out most of the day so only caught a glimpse of the proceedings.
What a wonderful day for American history! I have been falling on the BBC T.V. news - here is to new hope!!
