Rain, Roast and Earthquakes?

Flowers are wet and drippy this morning from all the rain we've gotten over the weekend.
So it's time to make some good old roast, rice and gravy!
Flour both sides of your roast and then sear to a crispy brown...Add water or beef stock to cover...chop up some onion and bell pepper and let it cook on a low, low heat for about 3 hours. Put your rice in a bowl and pour the hot roast and gravy over it...lordy...Nice!
Heard on the radio this morning that in Euless, Texas, we had an earthquake!! 3.8!! That's about 150miles north from us so I never felt a thing! What Next?!! Oh...Obama's speaking at Notre Dame today...Hahaaa.....Happy day Everyone!!

Looks yummy!!!!

Yesterday, at Kasi's party, one of her friends threw a rock at Ryan and hit him in the eye. I didn't realize until after most people were gone, or I would have sent the girl home. This girl is 12, and should have known better.

Dear me, Jenn, hope the eye is okay. Children!

It has rained here in my part of Texas; praise God! The roast looks especially yummy -- hmm, rice and gravy -- anything and gravy is a weakness. We are having baked chicken. I had my decadance yesterday for the next month in the form of Key Lime pie.

Enjoy the rest of the day. :D

Goodness, I hope Jenn's son is okay; I remember that happening to my youngest brother when he was little, and he lost his sight in that eye!!

Oh man, you always have the best Sunday dinners!

Earthquakes are very odd rumbles, we've felt them here cause we're very near the New Madrid fault. They feel much the same as a bunch of rowdy kids jumping around in the house.

It's the sudden rush of hot air in Indiana that is causing the rain and earthquakes, don't you think? Hahaha!!!!!

Set an extra plate for din-din, because I'll be ringing your doorbell soon!

Wow!! My kids would LOVE that. Being a vegetarian myself, I worry that I don't cook enough red meat -any meat for that matter- for them!!!

Wow! That sure looks good! I like roast cooked like that but I usually serve it with potatoes and onions-and carrots cooked along with the roast in the pot!

Hope the little boy's eye is alright! :(

Donna, hope your day is going well!

Hugs))
