The Brenda Photo Challenge (4-24-10) Lighting

Playing with PhotoShop7...saturation. Greener, Isn't it?!
Untouched leaf with direct sunlight...
Untouched...Can You See Me Now??Hahahaa
PhotoShop7 color Something....In shadows....LOL...
Well, this is the photo of the Julia Child rose that I took last week and posted. (You KNOW I NEVER have posted FIVE photos before...and I'm sorry! But I couldn't choose...Hahaaa...) I thought it was about time I got into my Photoshop book to see what I could do with lighting...This was the result of that experiment...I think I like it the best. Don't know HOW I did this but that won't stop me from trying to do it Again!Hahaa...
Well, I was the one to choose Lighting for the Theme this time...you Might know I'd pick something WAY out of my league!! But I Was Challenged so I suppose that's what it's all about!
Now I'm on the way over to see YOURS!! Have a Happy Saturday Everyone! I'll have the Next Challenge posted by Sunday evening! (The Brenda Photo Challenge)

Love all of them but the rose is my fav. That is a gorgeous shot, the rose looks so soft and delicate in that light.

Just got mine posted. I decided not to be the last one to post this week, LOL!

Now THAT's what I'm talking about!!! Lookie how you made that rose picture POP! OMG - spectacular! You wouldn't even know it was the same picture that you posted on the 16th!!! See what Photoshop can do?! Oh, I bet you were excited to see what you did! Love, love, love it!

The second leaf picture is my second favorite. Thank you for choosing such a great theme! I challenged myself too with it and used some Photoshop magic.

That's super lighting! I like the effect of the light on the second it brings out the natural color of the leaf. Nice photos Donna.

The leaves are so vibrant! I love the rose best I think, the lighting (photoshop or actual) is awesome. So soft and delicate.

that rose is a beauty, gorgeous soft tones. i've never seen that pink flower before, rather unusual. it is hard to choose sometimes, but you have some wonderful greens here, thanks for the great challenge

Donna

In the distant past (not too distant actually) I have taken courses at LVS Online. They offer cheap, six week courses of various kinds. There is one lesson per week with some homework involved, but it's usually not too onerous. They are about to begin a new semester, and here is the link to the Basic Photoshop Elements course. Sometimes it helps to ave some sort of schedule and group environment. It may not be your thing. No worries if so; just passing aalong info.

I really like your last photo. It looks awesome, I should start experimenting myself, but never seem to find the time. Great job!

These are just beautiful but that rose is stunning my friend. I don't know how to do anything to alter my pictures at all so I always have to just take 'em as they come outta the camera. I gotta learn to do that. That rose I tell you is awe inspiring. :) Well done. And a great take on the theme :)
