The Brenda Photo Challenge (6-5-10) Weathered & Worn



All of these were taken in the small town of Westphalia. It Use to be a busy little place with markets, a school....gone now. Boarded up and left to Mother Nature. It IS for sale if anyone's interested but I don't think you'd have many customers.
Well, these are mine...I'll be late coming to see Your photos but never fear...I'll be along!!

Oooh I love that rusty letterbox! And the screen doors with metal soda pop adverts in the middle! I can just hear the slap as they slam shut GREAT photos, Donna!

Fantastic shots. I just love old houses, barns etc... There are so many stories within those walls.

All of the photos are great! I love the old mailbox the best! Sad that this little town is dried up! Same story all over the country, sadly!!! I these walls could talk, huh???? Thanks for sharing!

Oh my! Great pictures! You got the lighting just right on each of them. That old letter box is too kewl for words, LOL. And the last photo is my favorite. Love that vine and the contrast with the weathered building.

And lookie at that great siggy on each one! You nailed this challenge, Miz Donna.
