Happy Dance Here....

To ALL unbelievers...Gamma did the Impossible! She single-handily got Dwayne, our Grandson William's plant project....to GROW! I've been dutifully watering it...singing to it...discussing daily problems with it...and patting it's little bald head. This morning as I was making coffee I happened to look up at those Big Blue Eyes sitting in the window sill, and what do you think I spotted? See the tiny green hairs popping up behind its eyeball??? Silent Happy Dance going on here....I Hate to admit defeat!!Hahaaaaaa.....Thank goodness for those grass hairs. When Will handed it to me to "fix", I Knew my Gamma Reputation was on the Line Here!! You know the one...."The All Knowing One".....I have not failed! Reputation has been saved! For a while longer, at least.
Went to town this morning hunting "papers" to scan into my computer so I can work on a background for my blog...Huhhh! Well, guess what...They no Longer make beautiful papers in the 8 1/2 x 11 size! Only 12x12's! I kid you Not! Won't fit my scanner! When did That happen? I tried to download some yesterday on the computer...Hahaaaa....Me and "Zip File" do Not get along! Zip my butt...Good Lord, why can't it just LOAD! Oh well, I shall persist....Hope you all are having a good weekend! Will is visiting us so I have a playmate tonight. Hubby says he's preparing breakfast for tomorrow....I don't think I'll ask him What he's making. Cabinet doors are popping open and shut so I'll leave him to it. Happy night to all....

Maybe I should get my head down there for a little help. But they say grass doesn't grow on a busy street.

well isn't that just the cutest thing and just look at those little green hairs growing. Way to go!
They still sell the 8 1/2 x 11 sheets of scrapbook paper in the crafts stores here. Even with the 12 x 12 though, if you have a flatbed scanner it wouldn't hurt to let the paper hang out over the edge when you are scanning.
Have a great day

LOL, good work on the spud! Grandma powers and reputation are still intact, LOL!

Now about that paper... Do you have a pair of scissors? Hmmmm??? But that sheet downt to size if you need to! You are so funny! I don't have the foggiest notion why your zip files are not opening up automatically. You did inspire me to try to create a new background yesterday. I got one worked up with a polar bear on it, and I tested it out on my template blog. Heehee, it is cute. Must wait until colder weather before I load it though.

Give me a holler if you need more help on the background project!

That paper aisle is huge Donna, my kid has my office full of every color and shape. There are smaller sheets to play with. Now I may have to look it over.Love this background.Wait until it gets out though that you are growing some grass in the kitchen.LOL

Oh my! He has such gorgeous BIG BLUE eyes!!! And look at you! You must have a VERY green thumb!! Glad you got it all worked out! I had been to Michaels to find some 8.5 x 11 paper and could only find the 12 x 12 .... grrrrr!! That means out comes the paper cutter! Then found out that our scanner is no longer compatible with the new Dell...it's too old apparently! Computers make my hair grey!
