Do You...Tattoo?

Do You Have a Tattoo??Hahahaaaa......I'm mind-numb today so bear with me. I think if I were 20 years younger, I might consider getting one.... a small one...tiny one...Hidden on my body. My cousin Roni, who lives in Connecticut, has a son...Mike...who is an expert tattoo artist. The above photo isn't his work, but he does do this sort of graphic and more. Told you I was mind-numb!Hahaaaa....Whatever you do this weekend, just think outside of the box...have Fun! Maybe a tattoo?Lolol

I actually do have a tattoo! A small rose on my right ankle. I got it for my 40th birthday. Most days I forget it's even there anymore!

No, but even at my age, I've thought of getting a small one.

I have stayed away.In basic a friend had his wifes name put on a ribbon running through a rose. She was going through training elsewhere and when she got done, they met with him wearing a shirt so it would show. She hated it, so thanks to a machine that made skin grafts he had it taken off.I went along to watch and it was bad. They separated a few years later.

I almost got a tattoo once. My sister and I got a little tipsy and talked ourselves into getting one but when we got to the parlor they were closed. The first words out of my mouth when I woke hungover the next morning was, "you'd better be glad that place was closed dang it, or I'd have murdered you!"

Yep, if I were younger I'd probably have a little one on my ankle.
The tattoos on this girl, even though too many for my taste, are actually lovely colors.

Have a great weekend Donna!

Miss Donna, you're never too old!
I have no idea what kind of tattoo I would get.... maybe a chicken? *hehe*
Hope you have a wonderful weekend too! (Just try to stay out of trouble! *giggle*)

Like with most things... hair color, clothing, decorations, art... my tastes change over the years. Tattoos are just too permanent for me... I do toy with the idea of a tiny one, that's not too conspicuous. My dad had tattoos, which I loved. He did have to have a name blotted out though. Lol!

Forgot to say... loving your fresh new blog look! The header is gorgeous!

I thought about getting a tattoo "xx" number of years ago. I chicken out at the last minute. Both my sons have tattooes; the youngest is a walking mural. One or two, fine; more than that, I don't approve. lol

Neat portrait.

I don't have any tattoos and am not interested in getting any.

no tattoos for this girl. About as far as I could go would be one of those temporary rub on ones...lol My son has several and my daughter has one that she got one night when her and her friends were out partying.

I've never wanted one. ever. but I do occasionally admire them on other people. I think I prefer the large works of art (like in the photo) over the little "Live Free or Die" ones though. have a great weekend Donna, and thanks for the laugh!!!

No, don't have any. Don't think I want one either.

No. My son finally got Live Life tattoo and it's tasteful, but I never thought he'd do it.

I thought Out on the Prairie said "a ribbon through his nose". I had to read it again LOL LOL

Hi Donna,

I don't have any tattoos...my daughter has a couple...it looks kind of painful to have them put on and I usually try to stay away from pain...LOL

No mam, no tattoos on me! When I got married my maid of honor picked out her dress. When she showed up at the wedding it showed her big tattoo on her shoulder. It left my very conservative family and my new in laws wondering if I had one as well!

yep....i do have a tatoo....got it about a year before my 50th birthday.....my girls helped talk me into it....and i still love it...a small lavender rose by my hip bone..i can appreciate most of the artwork. as long as it isn't "dark"..never thought i would have one....but 3 of my girls have small ones...and like i said...i don't regret the one i have ;-) life is ever changing....i have discovered that as i age....life is a canvass and we should throw all the paint on it we can....as long as we feel ok with the decision!
hugs,

Howdy Donna,

Don't have one and was never really interested. I would love to watch the artist work though, that would be amazing.
I do find them extremely HOT on large, male biceps/triceps

I said I was going to get one for my 30th birthday and didn't. I said I was going to get one for my 40th birthday and didn't. Maybe I will get one for my 50th birthday, although that won't be for quite a while.

No tatoo for me! I don't like needles!

:) When I see a tattooed young person...especially the ones who really go WILD with them...I think- "..But what about when you get very old...how will you feel about them then? AND how will you look?"

I'm no fan of tattoos at all!

I do have one tattoo of a dragon fly and my boys initials in small stars floating around it. I have no idea what i was thinking when I did it and don't think I would do it again. The good thing is that I forget that I have it since it's on the back of my shoulder

Jeanne said...

No - not for me. Can't stand needles for one thing. I would rather see my art on the wall!

bichonpawz said...

I'm with Jeanne on this one...

I don't do tattoos...don't want one...prefer looking at my art elsewhere!! Ha!!

My eldest daughter has 3 tatts and my youngest has one of a dragon on her hip. If I were younger I would consider getting a small rose or butterfly but as you age, the tatts that are larger do not look all that attractive. I just think some of them look cool on younger women but not on older ones.

No tats for me! Not interested in pain or spending the money.
