Slug Bug and Cleaning...

Granson William spent the night with us Friday...It was full throttle on the spacemen, Lego's and SpongeBob scene. I took him with me to town and bought him some shorts and T's. It's starting to heat up here in Texas...Can't have the boy sweating!Hahaa.....He's such a sweetie. While driving to town, he likes to play a game called Slug-Bug. Object is to holler out SLUG BUG when you see a Volkswagen...Needless to say...IMO...he cheats!Lololol..... I got a lot of my household files cleaned up and Out yesterday. Where does it all come from??? I still have two more filing cabinet drawers left to go...sigh. Hubby has brought up the subject of retirement and since I'll be turning 60 this year, I guess I'd better start the planning of it. Where in the WORLD do you Start in this economy??? We are planning for five years but who knows? Everything is just so darn "Iffy". Oh well, Hope things are going smoothly in your worlds today. I hear more laundry screaming at me from the hamper...I'll need coffee.

That young William's blue eyes just blow me away! He is so beautiful, but probably wouldn't appreciate hearing that. So, we'll call him "handsome". :)

Taking a break from yard work today; I've decided I don't work on the weekends. LOL

(((hugs)))

Thanks Sally Girl! I do love his eyes...While editing, I used an eye brightener action out of PShop. Makes the eyes somehow, brighter.
And I don't blame you! If I didn't HAVE to work, I wouldn't be doing it Either!Hahaaa
Happy Sunday sweet thang!

Gorgeous picture of a gorgeous young man-child! Those eyes, lordy have mercy on me!

Oh, I wish I could get organized here and clean things out! I have been working almost non-stop since we moved in 10 months ago. Haha, and I'm SUPPOSED to be retired! But they keep dangling those big greenbacks in front of my eyes and I get hyponotized! LOL, I'm throwing all the money in our vacation savings account, so I am NOT whining! I hope that you can get your retirement plans worked out. I highly recommend it! Especially if you don't work - hahaha, get it?!

Glad you had a great weekend! I saw a few slug bugs on our trip yesterday. We've got one here that needs to be restored so we can buzz around in it!

I just got back last night from a frenzied week of grandpa. It has worn me out a bit, and my bed felt so nice.

There's a lot riding on this next election, that's for sure. Namely, our futures and those of our precious children and beautiful grandchildren.

Speaking of which, your grandson is so "pretty" with those blue bedroom eyes, he could've been a girl. Mercy! He'll need a force field to protect himself from amorous females in no time flat! What a terrible problem to have.

And I can tell where he got such pulchritude ... a gorgeous grandma who CANNOT be approaching sixty! I've seen your picture and I call you out on that number, girl! No WAYYYYY!!!!

I know precisely what you mean about "where does it all come from???" I've found for myself that it comes from my inability to make a decision when it initially comes through the door/mail, so I just file it away for future reference and it accumulates. spring purging feels so GOOOD, no? your grandson is handsome! have a great day Donna.
{{{hugs}}} to you.

William is definitely a handsome young lad. His blue eyes certainly are gorgeous!

We used to play "Slug Bug" when we were kids too, but we took WAY too much pleasure in punching each other in the arm as we'd call out "Slug Bug!" This would, inevitably, end up in a sibling fight in the car, so all 4 of us kids would get in a LOT of trouble. lol

I wish we could retire NOW! Neither of us care for working, especially for someone else's business. But as you noted, the economy isn't very conducive to that right now. Hang in there, girl!
